Food is good. Price is good too. But I fail to see why the ladies at the counter wear gloves. Probably protect thier hands from getting dirty not for food hygiene because they touch everything with gloved hands ( our visa cards, the little machine that takes the money from cards, surfaces, wiping tables after customers get up). I'd rather they not wear gloves at all.
FANTASTIC food at a brilliant price! Ive been there 3-4 times and the quality is amazing.
Definitely recommend to anyone looking for decent indian! the Butter Chicken, Mango Chicken and the chicken tikka is the best ive had anywhere!
Had the 3 Curries Without Rice Option (2 meats and 1 vegetable)
Tasted pretty good. From memory it was about 15 dollars.
Ordered Beef Vindaloo, Paneer (vegetable) and a lamb curry
This is the best Indian curry restaurant in the city. I always see a lot of people having their lunch and dinner with Indian family roots in the restaurant, which obviously means they serve authentic Indian foods.
You can choose 3 curries of your choice per a plate. I ordered their large size of rice with 3 kinds of curry and a regular naan for me and my partner and the potion was good enough for two of us.
Good place for a late-night curry.
They have many different dishes to choose from, very hot curries to mild and a Variety of naan bread.
The staff are friendly.
If you are starving and need an instant good meal then this place is for you. Just make an order, your dish will be on your table in no time. I have been here for couple of time, on the first visit I had somosa chat which wasn't as per my expectation. I can't still believe they included capsicum and mayonnaise in somosa chat.
However in the second visit I had Veg Thali, with rice, Nan and three different curry. Which was good.
If you are butter chicken lover you should visit this place since I have seen lots of people ordering it.
This establishment is a faithful, reliable but most importantly delicious diner that also provides the pleasant addition of providing great value. The curries always provide a flavour experience that is thoroughly enjoyable with a moderately decent spice level, that even a white lad like me enjoys, even the vindaloo I enjoy and can handle the so called beast of spice. The only criticism I can provide is the meat quality is at times inconsistent in terms of tenderness, my only recommendation is perhaps longer cooking time and lower heat. Nonetheless I have still had many enjoyable and tender meat experiences. My personal favourites are the Palak Paneer, aloo eggplant and the beef vindaloo. The samosa chat plate is also a dish certainly worthy of being mentioned and appraised. Overall jolly good establishment that I will continue to attend as long as they maintain their cost value and dish quality.
Before I leave, it must be mentioned that I wish for them to bring back the goat curry as that was well and truly one of my favourites.
Anyways, so long and good day!
Cheap price and friendly staff clean place .
I enjoyed this dinner
is friendly for vegan or vegetarian
Choose three curry with rice. Very simple and cheap yet authentic Indian cuisine. I love how distinctive it is for different paste, letting me want to come try with different ones! The only drawback would be the hygiene problem, the tray and plate looks greasy with food stains.
