After three years of love and support at their Hindley Street location, the crew behind Levant Eatery decided it was time to open a second CBD location. to the CBD. Situated on Pirie St, Levant Eatery’s new location represents a dynamic fusion of sumptuous middle-eastern food and vibrant culture in a bustling city setting.
One of the rare occasions that I tried Mediterranean/Middle Eastern food and I must say that I’m pretty satisfied with the taste and generous portion of the food here.
The sauces are flavourful and savoury and the meat is done nicely. In the foreground is the Haar Vibes and the background is The Streets. It really fills you up when you’re starving. I’ve been here twice and will probably do so again. Service is also pretty good.
We decided to pop into Levant Eatery before work early one morning just past sunrise. It was nice to watch the day get started as we sat at the open window/bar facing out to Liverpool Street. The lady serving us recommended shak-shouka, so we ended up ordering the 'sujic' (Turkish sausage baked eggs) along with two long blacks.
The coffee wasn't bad, but lacked crema and complexity. The food on the other hand was unexpectedly filling and delicious. It was presented nicely on a wooden board with a freshly baked pocket bread that served as a tasty way to soak up the runny egg yolks (characteristic of eggs done well!) and sauce. It didn't feel heavy, so it was a nice hearty breakfast shared between two, that didn't leave either of us too bloated for the day ahead.
I've had a takeaway falafel wrap from Levant and it was packed with flavour from the dip and salads. This time I had the salad and it was even better. Lettuce, soft Pita chips and two sauces plus more. This is a casual eatery that has a limited menu but does what they do well. Popular with workers near west terrace and uni students, be patient at lunch time; there can be a queue to order but they serve petty swiftly. Not super cheap but fair prices.
Amazing food! Had plenty of times now and never had a bad meal! They cater to everyone with vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options as well as a variety of meat options.
A great lunch spot - definitely worth the walk down Hindley Street. The pockets sound small but they are loaded with filling. The salads are a great size and will definitely fill you up. Friendly staff and bright decor.
Incredible food! The haloumi sticks were off the chain and the serving size of the felafel bowl was great for the price. We will definitely be back soon

I had a coffee at Levant Eatery this morning. The coffee was tasty and smooth. The service and atmosphere were quite peaceful and relaxing. I can't wait to try their food! An exciting new-ish place on that side of the city.
Yummy food that also healthy. I have had several options here and have enjoyed each one. Great options and a great atmosphere. Service is fun and friendly.

A nice place to get some great Lebanese street style food. The Streets pocket is definitely up the on the list of good eats. The place gets packed really quickly around lunch time so it's best to get in before the rush otherwise a late lunch is always a good backup plan, as it's usually a bit more chilled and a nice spot to enjoy eating in!

Nice food and staff! Tried the chili and eggplant sauces which are really good. One serve is really big and I think half serve will be very enough to me.

Nice atmosphere. Good tasting, well priced, large portion sizes food. Has healthy options and some not so healthy options. Deliciously recommended!
