We were fit in with a last minute booking, our table outside had a heater and blankets to use which was lovely. Food was delicious, especially the fried pizza balls! Everyone who served us was so friendly and helpful with recommendations. Definitely recommend for authentic Italian!

Great place, happy to go back. Wouldn't get the gnocci again. With the 'home made' claim on the menu, I was expecting light airy pillows of pasta. What I received was dense, heavy and chewy.
Good gnocci is a thing of beauty, however, you will not get that here.
Aside from the gnocci, the service was excellent, the atmosphere is interesting and I look forward to trying the rest of the menu or doing one of their 'feed me' options which I think would really suit the vibe of the venue.
Am I the only one who thinks it's weird that they serve espresso in a mug?

Love eating at this place. The food is to die for and the service is exceptional. The King George Whiting special that I had last night was truly next level delicious and should be put on the menu as a regular dish. Thank you for always making every visit a great one to remember!!!

I had my first dining experience here recently. We had a group all you can eat pizza night. Definitely a good way to try a nice variety of flavours in one meal and to share that experience with the people you love! The all you can eat pizza night also offers dessert after the meal and it really is worth leaving some room for ! We were treated to deep fried pizza balls coated with sugar and drizzled with nutella. They almost tasted like a light donut dipped in chocolate. This restaurant is authentically italian and the setup has a lot of little touches of Italy to set the mood. Lovely service and who can say no to fresh pizza from a wood fired oven?

Est Ovest Osteria it is a great Italian restaurant in the heart of the city. All ingredients served are really fresh and made traditionally, as it is in Italy. They have a very cozy and pleasurable atmosphere. All staff members are super friendly and helpful, doing everything they can to make sure you are comfortable. I also would like to cheers the chefs for the amazing food. They have some really good Italian deserts that you must try. We tried a risotto and a spaghetti carbonara, and both were simply amazing!!! Next time we will try pizzas and I will update the post.

Food is absolutely outstanding. So fresh, delicious and authentic. The gnocchi is by far the best Iāve had in Adelaide, and the pizza has become my new favourite too. That dough is to die for. NOT TO MENTION - Alex. What a total gem of a waiter. Give that boy a raise (six figures please). We wanted to put him in our pocket and take him home. Perfect evening - in fact itās the second time Iāve been this week ļæ½ we will be back.

Just had he most amazing breakfast with scrambled eggs, mushrooms and smashed soft burrata cheese! It was seriously to die for.... absolutely delicious!! And it looked so pretty!! Iāve also had their sausage pizza...it was like I was living a day in Napoli! Well done guys! ļæ½ļæ½

Absolutely beautiful Italian food . Fantastic service and great atmosphere.. Surprised with a gorgeous complimentary ( literally ) freshly made bread ( sort of pitta style ) , scicilian olives and olive oil to dip once our order was taken - amazing !!! My only complaint is that it wonāt be one of Adelaideās best kept secrets for long !!! Definitely recommend eating here š

Service was okay, calzone a little undercooked, pasta was made better by the cheese bowl and salt shaker on the table. We will try Est Ovest again as our family raves about it.

Recently dined at Est Ovest with a large group. The place was inviting but the food wasnt so good. We ordered pizzas mainly. Some were burnt on the bottoms. All were burnt around edges. Yes. They are wood oven oizzas but they dont have to be burnt. The pizza bases were very thin in the centre and all toppings were runny and slid off the base when being picked up etc. this also resulted in soggy base. Not appetising to us. Only positive is that the pizzas did taste good and perhaps they were having a bad night with their pizza chefs... other thing was their knives were useless when trying to cut into anything that wasnt soft. Hope this restaurant improves.

Iāve been to Est Ovest many times, and it always delivers. Their gnocchi is so light and fluffy, their carbonara is the real deal (no cream), and their pizza is authentic Naples-style. <br/><br/>Everyday I get my morning coffee and the staff are always smiling and friendly. You can smell the food when walking up the street. The atmosphere is really modern, with pictures of post-war Italian immigrants arriving in Australia. <br/><br/>Such a great place to grab coffee, eat lunch, or even have a romantic date with your partner.
