Food is absolutely outstanding. So fresh, delicious and authentic. The gnocchi is by far the best I’ve had in Adelaide, and the pizza has become my new favourite too. That dough is to die for. NOT TO MENTION - Alex. What a total gem of a waiter. Give that boy a raise (six figures please). We wanted to put him in our pocket and take him home. Perfect evening - in fact it’s the second time I’ve been this week � we will be back.
Loved our experience here last night! Beautiful food, might even be the best pizza I’ve had in Adelaide! Thank you to our beautiful waiter Alex, your warm, bubbly and fun personality made our experience even more enjoyable, we were laughing and smiling all night!
I’ve been to Est Ovest many times, and it always delivers. Their gnocchi is so light and fluffy, their carbonara is the real deal (no cream), and their pizza is authentic Naples-style.
Everyday I get my morning coffee and the staff are always smiling and friendly. You can smell the food when walking up the street. The atmosphere is really modern, with pictures of post-war Italian immigrants arriving in Australia.
Such a great place to grab coffee, eat lunch, or even have a romantic date with your partner.

We were fit in with a last minute booking, our table outside had a heater and blankets to use which was lovely. Food was delicious, especially the fried pizza balls! Everyone who served us was so friendly and helpful with recommendations. Definitely recommend for authentic Italian!
Great place, happy to go back. Wouldn't get the gnocci again. With the 'home made' claim on the menu, I was expecting light airy pillows of pasta. What I received was dense, heavy and chewy.
Good gnocci is a thing of beauty, however, you will not get that here.
Aside from the gnocci, the service was excellent, the atmosphere is interesting and I look forward to trying the rest of the menu or doing one of their 'feed me' options which I think would really suit the vibe of the venue.
Am I the only one who thinks it's weird that they serve espresso in a mug?
Was great that they were able to veganise my pizza and still have it taste authentic. Vegan snickers slice was so so good! Lovely staff.
Love eating at this place. The food is to die for and the service is exceptional. The King George Whiting special that I had last night was truly next level delicious and should be put on the menu as a regular dish. Thank you for always making every visit a great one to remember!!!
I had my first dining experience here recently. We had a group all you can eat pizza night. Definitely a good way to try a nice variety of flavours in one meal and to share that experience with the people you love! The all you can eat pizza night also offers dessert after the meal and it really is worth leaving some room for ! We were treated to deep fried pizza balls coated with sugar and drizzled with nutella. They almost tasted like a light donut dipped in chocolate. This restaurant is authentically italian and the setup has a lot of little touches of Italy to set the mood. Lovely service and who can say no to fresh pizza from a wood fired oven?
A place you want to keep going back to. So lovely, with warm, friendly staff, relaxing atmosphere, outstanding food and coffee. Oh and you must try the Italian hot chocolate 😋 Tab, Mila and all the staff will be sure to look after you 💖
Est Ovest Osteria it is a great Italian restaurant in the heart of the city. All ingredients served are really fresh and made traditionally, as it is in Italy. They have a very cozy and pleasurable atmosphere. All staff members are super friendly and helpful, doing everything they can to make sure you are comfortable. I also would like to cheers the chefs for the amazing food. They have some really good Italian deserts that you must try. We tried a risotto and a spaghetti carbonara, and both were simply amazing!!! Next time we will try pizzas and I will update the post.
