Overall: Excellent service and genuine Italian food.
We visited twice this month. Love the marinara spaghetti, it was very tasty and authentic. Both times we tried a range of their tigelle (mini sandwich, but so much better) and will return!
Brilliant breakfasts! There were 5 of us, we all thoroughly enjoyed our breakfasts. Large selection on the menu, portions are very generous. I had the bruschetta with eggs, ricotta, mushrooms and spinach. Highly recommend that dish. Coffees were also excellent. Great service too. Looking forward to returning for their famous pizzas.
A birthday presented the opportunity to visit Rusco and Brusco Tigelleria Bar and they were conveniently open on the public holiday. I love eating at family run places because it is like they are inviting you into their home. It was really busy and the staff worked so hard but they were lovely and really friendly and all seemed to take pride in their service. Love the big photos of famous Italians on the walls. We of course, had to start with the Tigelle which is an Italian speciality that I'd never seen before - little toasted sandwiches with delicious fillings - we picked five to share. Then the gnocco fritti which is kind of like a fried sandwich - again filled with delicious fillings. The gnocchi bolognese was also a must have dish and they were soft pillows in a rich sauce. They offer a speciality pasta called passatelli which is made with bread crumbs which came with the most amazing truffle sauce - this was our favourite dish. The mezzelune (stuffed pasta) was also really nice. We didn't try a pizza but they looked really good and we will be returning to try. We finished off with a tiramisu and sfogliatelle (custard filed pastry) which was the most perfect mouthful to finish on.
We have been so lucky to have lunch and dinner here and have been so impressed. The menu is great and there has always been a specials menu. The shared platter was fantastic the produce was fresh and local. The salami was amazing. The main was the scaloppine fungi was perfection. The tirimisu was an amazing way to finish the evening. The staff are so professional and passionate about their work and customer service. An amazing find in Magill.
Delicious & authentic Italian food using many local SA ingredients. Service was fantastic & genuine, with extensive knowledge of menu & ingredients. Very generously priced. This place is a must if youre looking for good Italian in Adelaide.
I had a delicious lunch of Gnocci fritto. So many filling options all made fresh. Specials sounded amazing too. Great service, an all round excellent experience. I'll be back again!
Outstanding lunch at this small Italian restaurant along Magill road. Gnocchi special was delicious, tender and sauce was radicchio and sausage. This is a discovery for us locals and we will be back soon.
We absolutely love this place! Service is always amazing, staff are so friendly, happy and helpful. The coffee is absolutely perfect, and we come here often and we never had a bad coffee or even average one! Keep up your incredible passion and dedication!
This is my fave go-to especially while on break at uni! Their pasta is to die for and the tigelle is a must try. Love the decor and the customer service is fantastic... highly recommend!
Oh my gosh! The gnocchi fritti are the best! Fried bread (crunchy but not greasy) with the most delicious fillings you can imagine! 3 was probably too much for me but I'm not complaining! I could rave on and on but you really must go try them for yourselves! My favourite from my three choices was the blue cheese and walnut.
(You can tell how impressed I was by the number of exclamation marks)
Incredible! The atmosphere was perfect, our service was perfect and the food was perfect. You must try the homemade tortellini and buffalo mozzarella and prosciutto salad.
Brilliant! The tortelli was delicious and I don't have enough positive adjectives to describe the gnocchi fritti sandwiches. Great service and coffee too. Cant wait to return and try everything else.
Made a last minute stop in as we were driving past, and decided to drop in. So damn glad we did! I ordered the home made tortellini with butter and sage sauce and although I was disappointed about the portion size (because I'm a fat ass) it was undeniably amazing.
My gf ordered the buffalo mozzarella salad and it was so fresh and delicious (I had some of that too haha)
Family restaurant for the win!

I've enjoyed every cup of coffee here! The tigelle are amazing and the service is always friendly. On one visit I had a Nutella bomboloni that was stale, so that is the only thing stopping me from eating 5 stars.
Finally got to eat here at Rusco and Brusco and I was not disappointed. We had 3 tigelle to share and they were so tasty and the perfect mid morning breakfast snack. There are sweet and savory options available and vegetarian for those who prefer. We also ordered a zeppole which was so light and fluffy. The staff were lovely, very accommodating and polite. There's ample seating indoors and some seat for outside too. It's a chilled out, relaxed vibe in a comfortable setting with plenty of food options for you to choose from. I would definitely come back for sure, you won't be disappointed.
This cafe has nice coffee, a good ambience and the food is good. However, it can get very loud, to the point where it is difficult to have a conversation. The food tastes nice but it wasn't anything fancy. I would sit in the front room or outside if you have the choice.
Awesome coffee here. Never really eaten food with my coffee however our new addition or is it addiction the savoury Tigella. Can get busy here however The owners are very good and our only too happy to exceed your expectations. All the staff are very friendly and easy parking out the back
This was great, really. I'm Italian and finally I found an authentic Tigelleria in Australia. The Tigelle are amazing. People that are saying about the cost of them maybe they didn't think what there is inside: truffle, San Daniele prosciutto, authentic Gorgonzola ... oh my god. The one with eggplant caponata ... fabulous. The Cirelli coffee is the best one honestly. Mi short black was perfect. Thanks guys.
Best Tigelle and coffee amongst other things. I've eaten the tigelle in Italy and these taste exactly the same. Awesome. I would also recommend trying the gelati.
I (Amanda) regularly drive along Magill Road but on one recent occasion, out of the corner of my eye, I spot a new establishment... food of course, which had me googling to my hearts content until I discovered it was a newly opened Tigelleria Bar, called Rusco and Brusco. It wasn't long before I stopped in to check out what this new place had to offer.
Really delicious tigelles! A nice sized menu with lots of choice and very handy that they are on uber eats. My husband and I are looking forward to trying more of them. The pasta and salads look nice too. Will definitely be going back.
ordered a magnificent spaghetti bolognaise. the pasta was beautiful and the sauce was very tasty....very enjoyable, i certainly will be ordering from here again
Went to Rusco and Brusco when it was so new it wasn't even on zomato! Super friendly Italian bloke greeted us warmly and assisted to help us translate the menu. Sampling 3 tigelles we liked all of them - pesto tomato, nutella and the sweet Italian cheese and honey (our fave)! Coffee good too. Good to have a dessert and coffee spot open late hours too (have heard on good authority that the home made gelati is excellent )! Will return again+++

Another cafe has opened up on Magill Road. This time it is the Rusco & Brusco Tigelleria Bar. It is open everyday from morning till night. The cafe has double doors and I love it as it is open and very welcoming. When you drive past you will notice a coffee machine at the front. They use cirelli coffee.
