A really nice place for brunch. Friendly staff. Great to see Flinders University students and staff having access to a place like this on campus.

I've enjoyed every meal and function idea been to at Alere. Food is always beautiful and fresh, with a wonderful assortment of complementary flavours and textures. Plating and general presentation is top notch! The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and very attentive. I take all my business visitors here and recommend it to everyone!
A beautiful restaurant with large windows, which not only allow the sunshine in on a cool day, but the views are gorgeous. The food is healthy and delicious.
I was going to start by recommending this as the best food option at Flinders, but really that's too easy to meet. Given their remarkable quality of cooking and ingredients, coupled with the reduced price tag in 2018, they are by far an out-performer.
The squid was so soft it was like jelly on the inside, feta was a high quality goats cheese, eggs poached to the perfect level and the veggies were beautifully done.
With a cafe like that up here for $12-18 for a main meal, why does anyone even bother with some of those places downstairs? In addition to that, Alere offers a cafe section with your standard wraps/baguettes.
The service was very professional and the serving staff highly attentive.
