Had a great 2 course meal here. Oysters for entree and chargrilled tuna with Asian salad. Both dishes were delicious and the tuna was cooked perfectly

Recommend this place for sure. We had a couple of cheap drinks during Happy Hour, with my partner having an absolutely delicious Espresso Martini and her daughter having a Apple based Seasonal Daiquiri. Had the Surf and Turf Tower in Bistro 65 as part of a voucher, which was plentiful. Only downfall was the steak was overcooked.

Ordered some coffees and desserts-the palette cleanser (2 scoops of gelato) and rubarb and apple crumble. Everything was preaented impressively. I had high hopes for the apple crumble however it didnt live up to expectations. The rhubarb itself overpowered everything. Sadly there was no apple flavour so I just felt like I was having a rhubarb crumble. Thankfully it came with a thick cream. The coffees were all as you would expect!

Bought a scoopon voucher for the buffet breakfast. Both my friend and I had food poisoning soon after. Contacted the manager there and they came to a conclusion that 'our bodies weren't used to greasy food ie bacon and sausages' and their staff who consumed the food were fine. what a joke

Not worth a visit at all. The food made us sick and lethargic. Service was actually good but the food overall was not only a let down but also a disaster. Even the money spent on Scoopon was a waste for this deal.

We were actually spending a night or two at this hotel on our way to Kangaroo Island so decided to eat here & of course had the breakfast here too. Breakfast like most buffets was average fare, the usual semi warm variety of buffet offerings. On saying that there was nothing bad about it & the coffee although from a machine was passable. Evening meals were ok as well although I only sampled a salad reasonably priced at $14.5 & came with haloumi & a tarragon vinaigrette.

came and used a scoopon voucher for a friends birthday. 4 people for $95 and a short listed menu to choose from. pretty good for its value. the entrees were big. however, the mains were totally basic,<br/>something you could cook at home. you want something you can't prepare at home. the flavors were original but better yet I was mostly satisfied. never heard of the place so was good to try something new!

Lovely atmosphere with a very comfortable setting. Staff were courteous, proficient and very accommodating. Any request was quickly seen too and nothing was too much to ask. The food was delicious, presented beautifully and the blend of flavours was like a party on your tongue. Highly recommend Bistro Sixty5 for any casual or romantic dining experience in Hindley St.

Pleasant enough. Our party of four went on a voucher. There was nothing really memorable abut the food (I had the 'surf n'turf') but it was well-cooked and well-presented. Nothing one could object to. The desserts (creme brulee) came with some attractive trimmings. Attentive and efficient service. I imagine they cater mostly for business people staying at the hotel who aren't interested in an 'adventurous' menu. . <br/>The voucher was really excellent value.

BistroSixty5 is the Adelaide Hotel Grand Chancellor in-house restaurant. Decor and service were pleasant. I ordered the steak dish which was served in reasonable time and a perfect medium rare as ordered. Well plated (see photo) and tasty. I had affogato with Kahlua for desert. Nicely plated and tasty. Staff asked how the meal was, and were courteous and helpful.

The lamb here is nice meat, and it’s been cooked to not be bloody, while not being overlooked. However, it’s just a lamb roast. The sauce is just regular gravy. The parsnip chips are just parsnip, and the broccolini was also completely unadorned.
