We drive past Cheeseburger every day on our way in and out of work and regularly say "we should go there". We finally did. Great concept. You can have a traditional cheeseburger, a classic cheeseburger or a double cheeseburger (double patty / double cheese). You choose your cheese from four options. You can add fries or a soft drink to your order. That's it. The burger was excellent - there was love in the patties and the sauce. For $5 the serve of fries is generous and they are good fries. Definitely a good Adelaide burger option.
Environment: 3.5 clean, order counter and dinning tables are separated
Service: 3.0 self service, reasonable waiting time
Location: 3.5 near Uni SA, not exactly in city centre
Food: 4.5
1. Traditional burger with melted Italian smoky cheese:4.0 fresh lettuce, toasted buns, juicy steak, thin layer smoky cheese flavour is not strong
$8-11 for a burger, top up to a meal with +$6
2. Chips🍟 :4.5 hot enough, good seasoning but a bit salty, but overall is good with the thousand-island-like dipping
One of my favourite burger places in Adelaide. They only have four/five choices, but sometimes that is the secret, have a small menu and do it perfectly. You get to choose your own cheese. The Dutch cheese is not served melted, probably due to its texture, so that's disappointing, but the American is perfect. Only down point is they don't do milkshakes, I was told there is not enough room for a freezer as the shop is so small. Oh well, next location, as I am sure these burgers will be do popular another store will be required
