Great for quick and cheap eats! A wide variation of cold and hot meals which are ready to grab and go from the cold/hot food section (eg. kaarage chicken, sushi, soba noodles). There is also a hot food menu where all the dishes are $11.

Everything Japanese. Want something to takeaway - they have a huge range of freshly made sushi waiting for you. Need something more substantial - there are also bento boxes to takeaway. You can also dine in. The udon noodle soup is always my go to dish however, today I made myself try something different and went for the tonkatsu pork curry. This was a generous serving of crumbed pork and rice, with a delicious curry sauce and salad plus a bowl of miso soup.

Cheap and yummy!. Food is reasonably priced and servings are huge. Ordered their rice dishes and they are delicious! They even have a side serving of fruits. Overall a healthy and satisfying meal without breaking the bank!!

Sushi in the city. I've eaten here at least 100 times since it opened in 2010 and it never disappoints. The sushi is great and is by far the most popular thing, given the constant crowd pouring through each lunchtime. But it is the Udon soups that are really special and at only $7.50, the City Udon is perhaps the best luch deal in town. Definately the best japanese soup for lunch in my opinion. And the Tacoyaki also really hits the spot.

Excellent range, very fresh and great taste, i recommend the salad type packs... mouthwatering. I personally loved the kewpie mayo and ginger that accompanied the salad I consumed.

Sushi on the Run or Dine In. I think Sushi in the City is one of my favorite places to eat in the city.
The food is fantastic, the serves generous, the price VERY reasonable and the staff friendly and polite!
Whether you are ducking in to grab something on the run or have the time to sit and enjoy some Japanese cuisine this restaurant is the place to do either. I certainly have done both... the Udon Noodles are just lovely in the winter and the Bento boxes very filling and the sushi is fresh and prepared on the premises - which is very nice and you know the food is fresh !

A great variety of Sushi served. I recommend King prawn , Cooked Tuna, Chicken and lettuce, chicken and cucumber and smoked salmon and cheese.

Great selection with food made on site the way it should be! Staff are friendly and all the food comes packaged in it's own little wrappings so you can pick 'n choose what you want as you want. I discovered by accident and I am glad that I did!
