Probably one of the best ramens you can find in adelaide, their broth is not too salty like many ramens i have tasted and the toppings are given enough to fill you up!
I dont understand why this has a low review. I love this place. Best ramen i have had. Its good to get in and out for a quick lunch. The Ajisen ramen is so yum.
I red lots negative comment about this place. Well to me it wasn't that bad. I like the ramen, always order the same one spicy ramen. It's true, the front staff used to be rude and doesn't have a courteous skill. But came back again here and I saw a different in service. Seems they are a new staff, they're friendly, has a pretty good english and smiling. The kitchen weren't noisy as it used to be.
If I'm after something fast, hot, filling and reasonably healthy then I come here. The pork broth has loads of taste and they have lots of different meats and vegetables to have in it. One bowl manages to fill me up and when I need a chilli fix the Volcano Sauce on the side gives it some kick. Their little snacks are also good.
Not so Japanese.... I brought my Japanese homestay student here for dinner and was embarrassed to find out that the majority of the menu was Chinese and not actually Japanese lol. I had the volcano ramen and thought it was pretty tasty. We also tried the friend squid tentacles, seaweed salad and the ebi bento which i thought was ok. Overall the food was nice for the price, and Id go back again for a quick lunch.
I guess I was a bit shocked to see an AUD19 bill for a lunch consisting of a bowl of noodles and a serving of dumplings though.
