Quick stop recently when out and about at this bakery, apparently it's well know in the area. I had a potato pie with sauce which was a decent size and good value for money. Flavor wise this it wasn't the best I've ever had but it filled me up. The choc donut that I shared with husband was ok, the icing was super sweet but you can't really go wrong with a chocolate donut. Might try them again if I'm nearby.
Fantastic Ned Kelly Pie just all the right proportions and friendly service. Get in early as they always sellout quick. I will be going back again when I'm in the area
Best pie in Adelaide.. Found the best Ned Kelly pie I have had anywhere in Australia. Could not go past there without trying one and was not disappointed.
Good spot. Good pies and pasties, nice cakes. They make sandwiches fresh while you wait. Pretty good coffee and the people behind the counter smile at you. Their Ned Kelly pie tastes good when you're sitting next to a statue of Ned himself.
Can't go wrong really
Yummy. They have very good pies and pastry! Steak and bacon pie very nice! lamington was so yummy. Soft and spongie. Love it
Very fast and friendly service. Extensive pie and queche options. Killer bacon and egg sandwich. Good coffee too!
Delicious local family owned Bakery, this bakery has all your needs from Sandwiches, Pies, Pasties, Sausages Rolls, Deserts & Coffee. Definitely worth popping in if your in the area and want something quick to bite. Will be back like always.
Lovely place. Crowded, lots of people, people everywhere. But u will have lots of options here. Breads (pies, rolls) here taste 👍. Coffees are available too. The girls working here are efficient and accurately, quiet professional. I know how difficult it must be to deal with “never endingly queue of customers”.
On the recommendation of a friend we came from down South to try a Ned Kelly Pie. It's a really good pie, worth the effort. The 'goldilocks' of pastries is filled with a delicious mix of meat 'n gravy, bacon, an egg then topped with perfectly grilled cheese. This combination makes for lunch, brunch or afternoons. It is delightful.
We took home some cold saussage rolls and a pasty to reheat over the weekend. They were fresh, they reheated well and were delicious.
The coffee is great, the service is open, friendly, happy and efficient. It was a great recommendation and one we are happy to pass on.
A great casual experience all round! Loved the wide range of options on their menu which included both savoury and sweet. There were both dairy free/minimal (not advertised, but their sausage rolls had vegetable shortening instead of butter in their pastry!) and vegan options for savoury and sweet treats. Very yummy!
The pies, sausage rolls and kranskies are very good. Pasties are ok. Desserts are decent but not the best I've had. Great range of lunchtime sandwiches available too which makes it very popular with the locals.
Pepper pie was hot delicious and the custard Berliner was amazing and the staff was very friendly
5 ⭐️ thanks again
