The place seems to have changed hands recently from the state of transition here today; we dropped in for lunch whilst driving by and found this quiet spot filled with painted art and posters for local shows.
Given the absence of music today and with most of the patrons reading, the place took on a sublime serenity... not everyone's cup of tea, obviously, but a delicious vegetarian casserole filled a space and had a genuinely home cooked feel to it.
I don't know how the place will pan out in time for the locals, but we found ourselves thankful for a lovely, reasonably priced meal and a few zen-filled minutes of calm.
Always a relaxed atmosphere, no noisy traffic, original and rustic. Great for outdoor seating, peaceful.
I love this place. Delicious food, always something different - and you don't have to choose! They've always happily put a bit of a few things on a plate for me and charge what feels like mates' rates. Extremely friendly and hospitable.
Jason and Jane are lovely people with a great local following. Very cosy cafe inside and a great place to linger longer. I really enjoyed the friendliness and the community feel.
