We into this place on Wednesday because we saw an advertisement for 1kg for 15$ chicken wings and fries, and we really wanted to try them because we were craving fried chicken, and it was a friends birthday, so what better way to celebrate than fried chicken!
We went into the restaurant and were greeted with a really nice setting, all the lights were the right shade, and it was not very busy, so we occupied most of the space there.
The staff were really friendly, and there was a bit of a mix up with the flavours we ordered, so I’d suggest you always clarify the order before it goes through!
The food was delicious, and we couldn’t finish it all, so we got a takeaway box- I gave it to another friend who said it was delicious a day later ! (Really emphasises how good it tasted! )
Would definitely go again when I have more money ☺️☺️
Thai food has been popular amongst Adelaidians for many years now, which usually means we all have our favourites and regular go-to's. If you are anything like me (Amanda), in-between the old faithfuls, you love to try something new, then MiMi is that new Thai venue for you! Opened by Steven Lee who is also a part-owner of Plus 82 Pocha, which we visited back in June of 2018 for our Korean fix, we arrived at MiMi crossing our fingers hoping we would have the same tasty experience.
New player in town ! Good location just a shy away from the main CBD area comes another new venture from the guys who own 82 pocha! They are open for brunch and dinner on the weekends, lunch and dinner on most weekdays... Menu isn't extensive but they do everything well... Their soft shell curry was tasty but my stand out dish was the pork belly and fried chicken bites ... Could be spicier in general but no fault on taste !
