Overall really good fish ad chips and possibly one of the better fish and chips establishments in town. The interior has got a industrial, bauhaus look and reminds me of nordburger, clean simple and unpretentious. The battered blue grenadier fish and chips is quite excellent. The fish has a nice crispy batter and the fish is juicy and succulent. The chips are crispy, tasy and really nicely seasoned with a nori seasoning. It Comes with a delicious soba noodle salad dressed with what I think is a miso peanut butter dressing. Really uplifts the salad and is a little different to the usual coleslaw or other such regular salads. Their homeade tartare sauce is very good as it has a strong flavour of shallot and caper and pairs wonderfully with the fish. If I am to be nit picky the batter overtime does become a bit soggy from the steaming hot fish but overall really excellent fish and chips with a slight modern asian twist, definitely reccomend.
The lobster rolls we ordered were fairly decent but needs a little bit more flavor. The chips and the jap noodles that came with the rolls were a nice plus.
I ordered the hoki (grilled) and chips, it came with a servings of salad ( combo of rocket-spinach- seaweed ). Quick service for ordering (pay in advance), but during peak lunch hour the waiting time for the meal could be 15-ish minutes. Indoor and outdoor seatings.
