Their serving sizes are great, we ordered a small chicken AB (cost $10) and it was a very generous serving of chips and chicken with a good ratio of sauce. The chips were pretty good but could have been cooked a bit longer. However, this was still one of the best AB Packs I have ever had 🤤
We also ordered a small chips and gravy (again, great serving size and GREAT value for money. Unfortunately we didn’t love the gravy as we found it quite sweet. If we were to order again we would give the gravy a miss.
Knowing that chicken and chip shops don’t sell many beef burgers I say this lightly: the burger was a great size but the patty tasted like the frozen ones you get from a supermarket. It would be great to get a homemade burger patty - even if it’s fresh not frozen.
We were greeted with a friendly smile and service.Overall, it was an okay meal and good value for money. We will be back to give it another try soon 👌
Side note: I would also LOVE to see chicken and chip shops such as this one swap to a more eco-friendly 🌎 packaging instead of foam 🌱
