Review Albany Creek Tavern - Albany Creek

I have eaten here a couple times in the past and the food was great with large servings. I came for lunch today and got the pork knuckle which tasted nice but was cold in the middle however management handled our complaint professionally and gave us a full refund and a free dessert. The service here is spot on, great atmosphere and the food is usually excellent. Will definitely come back.

Pretty disappointed. I have been coming here since I was a kid a few times a year with my family. The past four years I have been vegan and seen the tavern consistently chop and change what they offer vegetarians and vegans. Typically there is only one option for vegans, and it is poorly done. The poké bowl that is currently on the menu, doesn't have any flavour and the rice tastes like it has been in the fridge for 3 days - very dry and inedible. This was pretty disappointing especially considering the price. I'm hoping that they put more thought into the vegan options, because I will be back and I don't want to just eat a bowl of chips. All the meat options were enjoyed by my family! Please have some love for the vegans and vegetarians

The Albany Creek Tavern's very own Grazier's Steakhouse, right next to Dan Murphy's liquor barn, is a hidden vault of deliciously delectable, down right drool invoking, devilishly tender steaks and the world's most tender pork ribs. (According to me!) There's other meal choices too, but their steaks are genuinely good. Be seated, make your selection from the extensive menu, order and pay right from your table, or at the register, then sit back with a cool beverage from the fully licensed bar while you wait for the awesomeness to be delivered. Easy. Enjoy. Try it, you won't be disappointed.

Food great, service non existent. Can only order via the app now they no longer provide menus which was frustrating as the majority of our group didn't have our phones . No table service at all not even water is brought out.Used to be a great place but we won't be back again. due to the lack of service a

Food was delicious well priced and quick to the table. That being said asked to give a tip when ordering electronic, what is it you want a tip for.... Also we were looking for our parties table, when approached by a staff member we thought they were going to help us, but instead demanded to see our proof of vaccination then walked off and we had to continue wandering to find our table

We had a wonderful night here tonight for our anniversary. The food was amazing - the steaks were cooked perfectly with so much flavour. We were attended to by Lisa who is a huge asset to the tavern - she is so nice and hospitable. We will definitely be back.

We came here for a birthday dinner. The meals took an hour to come out, the ‘blue’ steak was well done, the other steaks were cold, pork belly was so cold the fat had jellied. Staff at the bar were very rude to my son. When the staff were told they didn’t seem to care. We have been here plenty of times and this was just such a disappointment.

My wife and I and some family members went for the first time last night, 3rd MAY for dinner. We were extremely happy with the quality of service. The food was cooked to perfection and we look forward to returning soon. Thanks to the staff and to you, Brennan.

We went there for a decent feed as the other place was full so tryed something different and at the end a well worth the try as service was great the wait time for our meals was at least 10min the food was nice my meal rib fillet and mushroom sause with bufflo wings with the ceaser salid and garlic bread and in my mind that was a great tasting meal and decent size walked away full happy and satisfied and deffinatly going back for more the price for the meal was reasonable price as the meal excluding the garlic bread was $34 and worth every cent. Well done guys thanks for the meal!! ;)

We have been going to ACT for 5 years and today was the worst meal. My medium Eye Fillet was rare almost raw. Hubby ordered lunch rump, medium rare. This was blue and what have you done to the gravy? Now a watery substance without any flavor. Terrible. Terrible.

From all the crew of Aussie Pride Band, we thank the staff and patrons of the ACT for another cracking night. The staff are always helpful and super friendly and the food was awesome. The crowd at this venue always bring their A game and are up for a dance and sing along making the ACT one of our favourite venues to play. Thanks guys and gals for having us there and for helping us spread the OPCK message. Aussie Pride Band. #OnePunchCanKill

I must say tonight when the lights went out the staff did everything in their power (pardon the pun) to ensure everyone left happy. The kitchen did all they could to get our meals out to us, and the wait staff were hospitable in delivering our food/refunds where needed! Well done Albany Creek Tavern!

Well I ordered a steak (medium) and it came to the table with burnt ends and it was as dry as an old boot my partner ordered the chicken breast stuffed cambert and spinach and it was overlooked and tasteless! I would have complained but no one could actually find or tell me where the restaurant manager was. On a positive note the kids meal was a huge success but having spent $80 for dinner I have to question quality and value!

We attended a friend's going away dinner last Friday night which was our first time dining here, we had a decent size booking of 12 the restaurant was packed and sometimes this shows with the service and food but this was not the case everything was extremely good so much so my partner and I pop in again for lunch today once again it was amazing best Bruschetta we have ever had. If you like your food delivered in acceptable time, cooked to perfection, big meals & good value for money, friendly staff and a nice clean comfortable restaurant to enjoy all this in Albany Creek Tavern is the place to go. We will be back often.

The worst surf and turf I ever had. Prawns from a can, calamari or a piece of thick cardboard, I am not sure. Steak- crap. Asked for medium but it was overly well done and completely tasteless. Rum and raisin ice cream - great. Not made at Tavern so I guess that is why.

NEGATIVE. My family and I,11 of us, met at the Graziers Steakhouse last night, to celebrate birthdays. The menu looked interesting enough, pub food, with a few extras added in. Prices are not pub prices but restaurant prices! I order the 'Trawler Plate' I think it was called. It had been a very long time and many processes later that any of the seafood on my plate had left the trawler!!!!!!!! Absolute rubbish!!! The chips were ok and the salad was ok. Portion size was decent. Shame about the lack of quality and flavour of the seafood. Don't state what you can't provide. Never again. Service average. Childs meal totally forgotten!!

It is very important when you decide to eat at a place like Albany Creek Tavern aka Graziers Steakhouse, that you have realistic expectations or you're going to set yourself up for disappointment. If you are coming to Graziers expecting upmarket restaurant meals with table service, waiters and fancy cutlery: you're in the wrong place.

I live locally and admittedly, I choose to eat at different venues in the area over a place like Graziers. It's not that I am an elitist or food snob nor is it because I think Graziers is bad. But, I have been here a few times and the experience was just as you expect for pub food. They have the basics, the horrible pub carpet, Keno and sports on TV screens. They do steaks, chicken parmigiana, ribs and a few other things.

I have only ever ordered a steak from Graziers, specifically an eye filet (my go to steak of choice). Every time I have asked for it to be medium, it has come out cooked medium (to my surprise). I've eaten steaks at tonnes of places and Graziers has managed to cook my steak as asked (and people I've dined with) every time. Does this mean the food is always good? No. But this is my experience, not someone else's.

If you want to dine somewhere with the punters, senior citizens and casual diners with no pretentiousness whatsoever from the staff and venue: Graziers is great. The prices are cheap, especially in comparison to the much larger hotel up the road which is arguably at times $10+ more expensive for comparative meals (you know the one I am talking about).

Is Graziers perfect? Definitely not. But you have to realise it's a pub serving pub meals and they're not always going to be amazing. If you want complex flavours, more variety and a less pub-like experience you should go elsewhere.

Entrees of bruschetta and mixed skewers very nice - decent sized portions. My main of veal was a bit tough but what turned me off was that the bowl was full of the most disgusting mashed potato. Veges overcooked. The boys meals were ok, they had duck and steak with garlic prawns. A bit expensive for an average pub meal.

This was our first visit and were left well and truly satisfied. We had the 400g T-Bone and the 300g Rib Fillet. Both were cooked perfectly at medium and medium rare. the portion size was great, and the garden salads were fresh and delicious. We had chilli sauce and mushroom sauce and have to say that the mushroom sauce was the most flavoursome I have had in a long time. Overall very nice meal and because it was $10 off all steaks night, the prices were reasonable as well.

Service was poor, our issues were responded with "oh well", staff need some customer service training, and an attitude improvement. Management will have to reinvent themselves before I attempt to visit again :(

Went for Mother's Day lunch. Absolutely terrible and slow service. Waited an hour for a rare steak that came out well done.

Settle in for a long wait. Terrible service, mediocre food. Booked a table for 7pm. Arrived early and lined up for ordering. Had order processed / paid for by 7:30. Waited till 8:35 to get our meal! We had to ask several times and were told five mins each time . They are busy they say, so why overbook if something is wrong in the kitchen ?? DON'T go here . No apologies , no checking on us , we were very polite and they were very unprofessional !

Reconstituted potato goo with my $40 steak? No thanks. Very poor wine menu. Sticky tables. Go over the road to Portabella!

I find the steak here is great...as is the other food, although I mostly have the steak (I am a rump fan). The steaks here are far better than the Eatons Hill Tavern which is its nearest rival, we will be back again, we like the local pub atmosphere as well.

Mediocre at best - good for kids. Visited this place last saturday night and was largely disappointed - the steaks were very average. Quite disappointing as the quality of the steak was not did not reflected the price. For the amount charged I expected a superior steak.
If you want to visit a child-friendly place (theres plenty for kids to do) this is ideal; if you fancy a special meal try somewhere else.
