atta is leading the modern Indian culinary in Melbourne and inspiring the world too. If you are in Australia then must visited this restaurant, I believe you will share a lot experience after having bites and sips. This restaurant is rating like Indian Accent New York and New Delhi. These two brands are spreading Indian aroma with other cusines too. I saute them....
Located in Victoria Avenue Albert Park, is a beautiful restaurant with an amazing Indian cuisine. The dishes we started off with were the Pappadoms, Channa chur garam and Chatpatta paan. The Pappadoms were freshly cooked and went perfectly with the mint chutney. The Channa chur garam was served in a wooden hand and was exquisite! We could definitely eat a few of those. The Chatpatta paan were presented on spoons and were divine. Another dish that we could have had more of. We enjoyed the Dirty Samosa and Sikandari Raan for entrees. They were both delicious and a nice way to start the mains. The lamb of the Sikandari Raan just melted in your mouth and the presentation of this dish was fabulous! 10 stars!! The mains came out and we were looking forward to trying it. We had the Murgh makhani (Butter Chicken) and the Machi Tikka Masala (Fried Barramundi). Garlic Naan and Saffron rice was also served with the mains. The Murgh makhani was amazing! Especially when you could dip the garlic naan in the sauce and scoop up mouthfuls of saffron rice to go with it. The Garlic Naan was lovely and you could definitely tell that it was homemade and fresh. Although we couldn’t quite have anything more, and we really wanted to try a dessert we decided to share one. We had the Chidiya ka ghosla (birds nest). It was a delicate dessert, in presentation and on the palate. It finished off our meal beautifully. The menu is amazing at Atta but they also have fantastic cocktails too. For beverages, we had two cocktails the Varanasi Sunset and the Smooth Operator and also a glass of Martinborough Pinot Noir. The Varanasi Sunset was a favourite, the blend of the alchohol/ingredients was fabulous! They definitely have a fantastic mixologist. Atta Restaurant has beautiful lighting and a cosy atmosphere. Our table was a very comfortable size. It is a lovely and relaxing restaurant with friendly and helpful staff. We thank Atta Restaurant for having us. We experienced Atta Restaurant as guests, and all of our opinions are genuine and are based on our experience at the time of our visit.
I visit Atta earlier this month for a birthday dinner and it was a great experience. I shared the Achari Machli (twice-cooked salmon entree), Kerla Jhinga (king prawns and coconut milk curry main) and Palak Paneer (spinach and cottage cheese main). They were all absolutely delicious and larger than I imagined. I had the gluten-free roti, but I was salivating looking at my parents' serves of naan. The staff were friendly and efficient. I can't wait to go back and try their desserts.
