it was a super hot day and we decided to visit Jock’s after having lunch. What I love about Jocks other than that they let us try the icecream first before purchasing, is that they have this size called a teeny tiny Jock or something, which meant is great for kids and it’s great for me who feels guilty eating a large cone.
I had a beautifully creamy and delicious coffee flavour, whereas the kids had a guava sorbet. Hubby had the chocolate ripple and everyone was happy.

On Victoria Avenue, you’ll find Jock’s; which has been around for 17 years. It reminds you fondly of the old school with its whimsical interior. There is rather limited seating and around 36 flavours to choose from. All ice cream options are reasonably priced and tasty. Staff are friendly and the stream of customers is constant. Must come again.
A nice ice cream shop not far from St Kilda's beach. Lots of flavour and generous with the scoops. We had the peach sorbet which was okay and coffee which was the best coffee ice cream we ever had. It was not too sweet like most coffee ice cream, but flavour was very nice.
Really really great icecream! I'm more of a gelato person but I really cannot get past Jock's ice cream. The ice cream is well churned and tastes wonderful. My all time fav flavour is the Hokey Pokey - seriously try it! So yum!
Jocks is my partners favourite ice cream spot that he is constantly raving about (I’m team Messina all the way) so occasionally I indulge him in the avoidance of the lengthy lines at my preferred and a trip to the ATM (they are cash only) for a scoop of fruity fabulousness. Their flavours aren’t as exotic as some of the more trending ice cream joints but it’s all homemade and you can even get a take home tub (mango is generally in our freezer come summer). Definitely worth paying a visit

Quaint and unassuming, I loved coming here to try the ice-cream. I was blown away and although it was a bit of a trek for me (who came at the time as a tourist) it was well worth the trip. Delicious!
Cool little ice cream shop just down the road from the beach. The flavours on offer weren't your typical exotic flavours that other ice cream shops have. They were based more on the fruity side of things. However the ice cream was tasty and the servings were just right.
Amazing selection of ice cream, a lot of flavours that change regularly. Good location on Victoria street, Albert Park walking distance from the beach.
It was such a hot day walking back from Port Melbourne Beach, and thank goodness for Jock’s. The ice cream is divine! Although the shop is not that big, it has the cheerful atmosphere and staff is lovely too.
This is without a doubt one of Melbourne's hidden gems!

First visit to this ice cream shop. The shop appearance wasnt too convincing us that the ice cream would be great so we ordered choc swirl, vanilla and the orange choc flavour (forgot the name). Turned out those ice creams were so great. Especially the orange choc, the taste was so good. Was about to go back and buy again but cancel cos bit of drive.
Absolutely recommended for ice cream lover.
Definitely will return to this shop.
one of my favourite ice cream joints with delicious flavours. love the obamarama, the hokey pokey and on occasion I get the pannacotta berry. definitely worth the detour of you're in the area, ice cream not to be missed, one to have there, and a tub to take home 🤪
BEST ICE-CREAM IN VICTORIA. I have tried every place and nowhere, even Yarra Valley Chocolaterie, Godina, has ice-cream as good. Variety of interesting flavours, good pricing, amazing service. Worth your time

Great for icecream anytime of the year. Fantastic sorbet and icecream with a huge range of flavours. Normal cones, waffle cones and cups are all available. Want Jocks after hours? Buy tubs of jocks to take home or delivered by Uber. Great outdoor seating for those sunny days and hot nights.
