Very welcoming little Pizzeria Artigianale... From setting foot into the Pizzeria they where so wonderful maybe because we speak Italian .. The food was just like stepping into a tiny little Pizzeria in Naples ... The staff Domenico and Eleonora where a delight... Will definitely come back ... Great service, menu, food and wine. We ate focaccia, prosciutto & mozzarella bufala, followed by Pizza porcini w/truffle oil, tiramisuā ti finish off ā¦ nearly forgot, a lovely bottle of red from Puglia and a glass of whiskey to finish off a wonderful dinner experience. The word different is normally associated with "bad" but in this case, it couldn't be more wrong. The pizza, specially the dough is different. It has a small percentage (probably in the mid/upper teens) of wholemeal or other flours, and you can taste it. A change like this would see people turning their heads, but this additional helps developed character. The visible reduction of the doughs gluten structure, leading to a softer, more gentle, less aerated slice is balanced by new complex flavours. While authentic might not be the correct description of their pizza, I would dare to say, this is a modern, authentic, pizza.
Amazing food and very friendly staff. Probably the best pizzas Iāve had in Melbourne. Iāll definitely be back to work my way through the menu!
Tony Niccolini has done a wonderful job with Italian Artisans. The place celebrates the fresh and beautiful Italian ingredients. The staff are very attentive and friendly, and the overall service is impeccable.
We had the antipasto board to share, a Campari spritz of course, pizzas and their beautiful polpette.

One of the best pizzas in Melbourne!!! The quality of the ingredients used are amazing and the dough is exactly what I want in a great pizza 10/10. The salads are a great accompaniment to the meal (I usually go for the Rocket with pecorino sardo, pear and honey). P.S the Pizza San Daniele is a must get if itās your first time there!! Definitely my favourite.
A very good restaurant for having pizza. We stayed there for a long time and enjoy the stay. Good service, very kind and friendly. I will come back.
We were shocked that DOC Albert Park was no more, replaced by Italian Artisans! We decided to try it out anyways since we already made the journey, and were very pleased with the result. Their pizzas are very reminiscent of DOC and the ingredients are top notch!
Just as good as DOC in Carlton! The space is beautiful and the food is fresh and amazing - the way pizza should be done. I've also tried the tiramisu, where they use goat's cheese instead of mascarpone and I thought that was really interesting!
