A beautiful restaurant, with freshly baked goods, freshly baked coffee. Worth buying a bag of their roasted coffee. Super friendly and helpful staff. Food was delicious. Will be back soon!
Although they roast their own coffee in-store, I wasn't as impressed as I expected. And at $4.90 for a medium takeaway, it's expensive even for Albury-Wodonga standards.
The sourdough bagel was tasty, but is more like a bagel-shaped roll rather than having the texture and crumb of a proper boiled bagel.
[They also have a cafe out at the Whitebox Shopping Complex but I was warned not to get a coffee from there as it's notoriously hit-and-miss as to whether the coffee will taste burnt or ok]
Hot chocolates and custard tarts are amazing. Store is very nice along with well presented staff. The coffee range is exquisite and have the best cinnamon cookies that come with a hot beverage. Would recommend it to anyone. Love catching up with friends there has a really good vibe
Great to little spot to grab a quick coffee or sit down for one of their granolas or focaccias while smelling the coffee roast. Friendly and helpful staff and love the White Owl Coffee - frequently purchase a bag of coffee to use at home. Love that they have onsite parking which is perfect for stopping past when getting on and off the highway.
Great food and service! Had a hot chocolate and a muffin. Great place for chat ups with friends. Will be back for sure. The cookies that come with the hot drinks are great!
Good place to catch up
The hot choc is the best in town
The food is tasty and wholesome and doesn't try to be something it's not
Staff were great and friendly and the smell of fresh roasted coffee was amazing
Amazing atmosphere, great coffee!. I love the coffee here! The beans are freshly roasted on site and the set out is great! I love the spacious seating area, great for catching up for coffee with a big group of friends. The meals here are great too!
Good Concept - early beginnings. As Julie Andrews would sing "these are a few of my favourite things"...beer, coffee and bread. Seeing the formerly deserted Pizza Hut building painted black and boasting a huge new BBB sign, I was tempted to drop in to have a look. While disappointed that they are not actually brewing beer here, the concept is that they will stock boutique and craft beers, which is fine by me. I just grabbed a Canadian Molson 'Blue Moon' wheat beer, and glanced around and thought "about time". Quick look at the menu scared me a little - a big breakfast platter for one was $23 - so I won't be able to afford to eat here..oh well the beer was nice!
