My score 3.5 stars.  J & I had a TA lunch from here on Fri 8th Feb after shopping at AG.  We got a Fisherman's Basket ($20) because it was mid arvo & we didn’t want to troll through the menu.  Situated in a group of suburban shops - pretty typical F&C shop interior.  The 2 women who served us & did the cooking were very polite & pleasant 🙂 – apparently they took it over about 3 months ago.  FB consisted of: 2 battered flake, min chips, 2 potato cakes, 2 calamari rings & 2 dim sims – in the end we shouldn’t have got the calamari or dim sims & there were chips left over (too much food 😀)!  Flake – large pieces, fresh, quite good 👍.  Very generous chips 👍, well cooked, mainly regular cut shapes (but some odd shapes & smaller ones which were pretty crisp. J likes, I don’t) – they did steam a little bit on the way home, so not showing at their best (still ok though).  Potato cakes were ok, good size, a little bit doughy in the middle.  Calamari were ok, nothing amazing but at least not chewy.  Dim sims were quite golden brown & very peppery - too much meat & not enough cabbage for me!!!  No lemon, etc. supplied.  BTW best wrapped TA F&C’s I have ever had > Double paper wrapped - the inside piece being folded literally like a present 😀!!!  Overall pretty good value 👍 - not close enough to be our local, but not bad if you live nearby...
