My score 3.75 stars. I had a late solo lunch here on Mon 21st Oct. I was shopping nearby, so drove past to see if it was open - a little hard to spot in the new commercial estate (I think they do a lot of delivery).
Pretty basic interior, not huge - I pulled up a stool at the window bench table. TV on in the background – ranging from quirky nursery rhymes to Pokemon stuff (quite entertaining audio). Staff were pleasant.
The electronic till was playing up, so it took a while to actually place my order of Japanese chicken curry & rice ($13). Maybe because of this they gave me a complimentary Malaysian white coffee (iced). Strongly flavoured, not too sweet – it was really yummy!
My meal had lots of rice, it was maybe a tad too soft and wasn’t steaming hot. There was plenty of carrot which was tasty and had a nice natural sweetness. Plenty of very nice curry sauce with a slow heat build up and a bit of a kick at the end (which I liked). There was plenty of chicken, quite tasty and nicely crumbed. The curry was drizzled with yoghurt, which was ok but a bit sweet. If I got this again, I would ask for the yoghurt to be put in one spot to the side (so I could choose the sweetness level). Overall a satisfying and extremely filling dish for the price.
PS. Sorry for terrible pics, I was pretty hungry and forgot to photo everything at the start. Pity, as the curry looked pretty spekky before I mauled it! :)
The food here is really tasty. It was cooked fresh while we waited and the serves were very generous. The prices are reasonable and I will gladly be back to try some other menu items. On this occasion we got a combination meal with honey chicken and black bean beef with the fried noodles as well as the Japanese chicken chop curry. Both were amazing and the serves lasted two of us two full meals.
Came faster than expected, taste great and it's cheap. The portion is well enough for it price. Would order again for great food and fast delivery.
