Upon arriving at Anglesea and our resort we settled for dinner at The Coast Restaurant.
Dinner was scrumptious, had the tandoori chicken skewers which were on special, spaghetti bolognese, Emiliana pizza, seafood pasta... chirps and strawberry panacotta for dessert.. + cocktails, apple cider and vodka in the rocks.
Couldn't find any faults in the meals, greeted by such wonderful staff members, definetly had a pleasant evening.
Went back for brekky in the morning and had some more wonderful food ~ blueberry pancakes, the coast (smashed avocado), corn fritters... yummy 😋 indeed bonus we received a free dish as we stayed within the resort.. highly recommend this place. Def will come back 💕

Finally somewhere in Anglesea for a fantastic breakfast with the family. The restaurant is tucked in behind the resort but there are plenty signs to show the way. Stopped in for family breakfast on a Saturday morning. The menu is fantastic. Something for everyone. Presentation amazing. The service was fantastic given there was only one person on front of house. He never stopped moving for the entire time we were here. If he was not making coffee, he was taking orders, or delivering meals, ir cleaning up accidental spills. Nothing seemed too much for him. The service was excellent, menu selection very well balanced, presentation appealing. Overall an excellent experience. If the restaurant management read this, the staff member on the breakfast shift on saturday 24 Sept deserves special recognition for his performance/efforts. Thank you, a great dining experience in a great location.
This place is pretty standard for the area. Nothing too fancy. Nothing too amazing. But the pizza was great. Perfect after a long day at the beach and full of great ingredients. My only gripe is the menu here didn't match what was on offer - so needs updating.
Great food, great customer service! Would definitely go back, especially for some pizza as the garlic focaccia was delicious.

We were initially hesitant to try this place due to the negative reviews, however it has so far been the best place we've been to in anglesea. Very friendly staff and the burger was delicious. We will definitely be back tomorrow to try their breakfast

Had lunch here today simple authentic Italian pizzas, great service wait staff where amazing! Would come back here again!! Kids also kept entertained with the Trampoline park close by to the restaurant.
Wonderful. A great dining experience with lovely entertainment and great service! The food was divine! The very best salmon I've ever had, the rib eye was scrumptious and the chicken, very tasty! We all enjoyed our meals, the portions were fantastic and the price was spot on!!!!!!!
Wonderful Meal!. Although only open for 2 weeks this restaurant is a little gem in the midst of a great resort. The service is friendly and helpful, offering suggestions and very willing to receive feedback. The mushroom truffle risotto was cooked well and with some parmesan to add flavour was a neat little dish. Meat in the surf and turf was cooked well but could have done with some more flavour on the seafood. To finish, we enjoyed a nutella calzone which was to die for! The nutella and melted marshmallow oozed and the calzone dough was soft and fluffy around the edges. Definitely a serving for 2 people for such a cheap price!
Would definitely come again and I'm sure as the restaurant becomes more established it will continue to exceed expectations. Well done!

This definitely is an impressive restaurant for grown ups that appreciate fabulous food, quality decor and excellent service.
Impressed by the tasteful decor the moment we entered this stylish fine dining restaurant, but that was just the beginning of the hook that will have us coming back again and again.
We were greeted by staff dressed in really nice uniforms and their incredible service all night made us forget we were in coastal location, as everything about the wonderful service would have you thinking you were in a top City restaurant.
The menu is concise with the focus on top quality local produce, served on stunning hand made crockery that had me wanting to keep touching the plates as they were so beautiful.
We started with the best oysters and large tiger prawns we’d ever eaten as an appetiser.
Following on we were delighted with Ocean Trout delicately cooked in Banana Leaf with sticky coconut rice and a mango salad. The combination of flavours and textures sang continuously in my mouth.
With a slight deliberate delay to give time to savour the meal so far, we were then treated to the 12 hour Pork Belly. With dehydrated apple slices for an added WoW. There were no words that could explain how good it was.
Not that we needed it, but very happy we had it, the deconstructed lemon meringue was the cherry on the top of a wonderful experience.
DEFINITELY IMPRESSED and we would absolutely travel from Melbourne again and again to dine here.

What an amazing experience my wife and I had on our little mini moon. The staff were fantastic!
We had problems with our first room when we arrived but they were straight onto and actually upgraded us to another room.
Oh my gosh!! The food was delicious and so were the cocktails. We ate a lot that night.
Also, the massage and spa we had took you to another world. We just laid back, relaxed and escaped from reality for a while.

The desserts were not value for money,we ordered a lemon tart for over $20,it was a bit of smeared meringue blow torched on a plate with dollops if lemon curd,very disappointing low effort dessert.
The chocolate fondant was on the burnt side.
The pork and steak were divine as were the cocktails and amazing ambience in the restaurant.
Mother (99) & three daughters shared a fabulous dinner at The Coast last night. The food was beautifully presented and tasted fantastic, along with a special cocktail and great wine selection! The room has a great ambience but the whole night wouldn't have been as special without the attention & service from Kerry who was a delight! I will definitely be returning. Thank you for a very memorable evening for us all.
That was a good moment in this restaurant for my birthday. The waiters are really professional and delicate. The food was good and the cocktails were unique.
Just one thing was a bit disappointing, the airflow of the restaurant. We noticed the smell on our clothes. Except that, we really enjoyed the moment.
The restaurant at the resort in Anglesea has improved out of this world. It delivers fine dining food in an awesome classy venue. Loved the decor and the atmosphere. Food was brilliant and drinks were delicious. I had the cured ocean trout to start and shared the banana leaf wrapped trout and the pork belly for main. Both chocolate desserts very good too. Highly recommend

I don’t give out many five star reviews but, this place was exceptional. Such a beautiful little restaurant tucked away in anglesea. This place is fine dining at it’s best. There’s a delightful outdoor decked sitting area that is very comfortable perfect for before dinner drinks. I really loved that the cocktail spirits and the wines were sourced from local businesses. I had the spiked apple pie cocktail made with timboon whiskey and it was superb. We had an 20:30 reservation and the wonderful staff had the table ready half an hour earlier. Emma was our waitress and she was fabulous. Answered every question we had and recommended some excellent drinks to go with the food. She couldn’t have been more friendly. The food was delectable. In fact, the truffle veloute was the best sauce I think I have ever had. Steak was cooked to perfection. Chicken wasn’t dry. Fish was light and flavoursome. I recommend the prawn appetizer, that was my favourite. If you passing through or staying in Anglesea, pop in. You won’t regret it. I can’t wait to come back.
