The climb was a little hairy in the dark, especially as we went the wrong way and had to reverse a little of the way down a dark, unbarriered road, but the find was so worth the anxiety! For late sleepers like me though, the 5am sunrise means it's a perfect excuse to grab the camera. You so don't want to pull down the blinds with that view! It can't be missed! I think it should be renamed Chris's treetop villas. As for the restaurant - great food, great wine and damn fabulous service. We were a little 'disheveled' by the time we stopped for dinner after a big sight-seeing day and the wonderful service got us sorted. I couldn't decide on wine so they gave us a tasting to help me on the way (...full glass tasting!! ). The porridge is a must on the breakfast menu btw, it has to go down as the best I've ever had! Definitely a must stay on the map.
Great food and wine. Well worth finding the place. I recommend the calamari entree, lamb main and the Tiramisu desert. The fat chips were also very good. Cocktails to start all nice
Wait staff where fantastic the food was awesome and the whole restaurant including the view gave us a 5 star feeling and the price was surprisingly cheap also. Would 100% come back here again and recommend it to everyone I know. My compliments to the chef and all the staff. 5 stars.
