Tonight was the third time I have eaten at Baahubali- and I’ll be back soon. It’s so so so good! It’s hard to choose from the extensive menu so it’s good to go with a group of people so you can order more items to try. The onion dosa was absolutely delicious and even just something as simple as the riata (yoghurt dipping sauce) that comes with some entrees was next level - full of fresh herbs. The staff were lovely. 👍🏻👍🏻
Addicted to Cheese Chilli Dosa and love the biryani. The service is amazing! You must check out this place, if you are looking for good quality Indian food.
I ordered takeaway from this place via Uber Eats so please bear this in mind when reading this review. Very happy with the samosas. My dosa was a decent size but it was a bit cold when it arrived. I ordered the egg dosa and it could have done with a bit more egg! Absolutely loved the condiments which makes anything taste amazing. Overall, I was happy with this meal.
Overall good.
Doesn’t taste like South Indian. Not that spicy food.
Got good amount of starters in plate.
Good to try different options.
Came here because it's the only place in the area that offers masala dosa. The dosa and the chutney's that came along it were delicious. Also enjoyed the chilli gobi. Will return.
We ordered Nutella Dosa. Nutella was not available so we had to order another dosa. Food was good. At the end we had a complementary Nutella dosa as the chef organised it by that time. Kids loved that. The mint chutney with Papad was lovely. We also loved veg Momos.
Always great take away! Best dosa in the area

Never been disappointed here . Great food.
Delicious! Delicious food and staff very friendly, highly recommend it! Butter chicken and naan always goes down a treat. Very quick with takeaway order and a nice customer discount, always appreciated!
It's a lovely Indian restaurant with definitely delicious food! Seems pretty authentic. We tried Fish 65, Goat biryani, Chicken fried rice and Mango lassi. Everything is absolutely delicious. Goat biryani is an absolute stand out! Must come back to try their extensive dosa menu 👍🏻
Sunday late afternoon. After some office work team decides to go for lunch (!) together and one of the recos come for Baahubali.
Armadale tram travel was not far from office but due to hunger it was feeling far.
Once reached restaurant, everyone was excited to see through booklet of menu enjoying Arijit Singh songs ☺️
Brass glasses for water and cutlery on table was inviting us to select dishes at the earliest. Instructions mentioned that pre-reservation is necessary for 6 plus guests but it seemed tables were available may be because we were late for lunch time.
Our order was onion pakoda, veg seekh kebab for starters. Both were well prepared crunchy and soft respectively. Pakoda was made with different style unlike round shapes as we get in India.
Main course was paneer tikka masala, veg kadhai and dal tadka. All dishes were tasty but obviously less spicy than ours type. Different options chosen for roti, nan, lachha paratha. Everything was in good portion. Jeera rice and dal was enjoyed at the end. Lassi (sweet and salty) was final course. Lunch was satisfying and fulfilling apt for Sunday afternoon. Stomach was so full that we decided to return by long walk 😊
If around Armadale area, certainly worth visiting Baahubali 👍
After looking through their extensive - and somewhat different to usual - menu, I settled on my personal usual; serve of Samosas to share, butter chicken, safron rice to share and garlic naan.
The Samosas came out quickly enough and were really good with just a slight kick to them. But we weren't completely finished eating them, when the main came out. I'm sorry, but that's not right in my opinion, and it was a struggle to get all the dishes onto the table with the Samosas still there. However ... everything I ordered was really nice. The garlic naan had an avocado paste on it, which made for a slight change from the norm.
The things I didn't like were ... Metal drinking cups for water, and there was a pungent smell of metal around us, from said cups. No change of both cutlery AND plates from entree to main; something I find kind of cheap and lazy for a restaurant. But the things I did like were the quick service and the delicious food.
If you like Indian cuisine, but want a menu that stands out a little from the rest, this is a good choice. While I did stick to my usual, when I go back again, I will definitely choose something a little out of the ordinary like the good looking Dosa's that they served to others. I do recommend Baahubali. Reasonably priced, too.
