Tonight was the third time I have eaten at Baahubali- and I’ll be back soon. It’s so so so good! It’s hard to choose from the extensive menu so it’s good to go with a group of people so you can order more items to try. The onion dosa was absolutely delicious and even just something as simple as the riata (yoghurt dipping sauce) that comes with some entrees was next level - full of fresh herbs. The staff were lovely. 👍🏻👍🏻
Addicted to Cheese Chilli Dosa and love the biryani. The service is amazing! You must check out this place, if you are looking for good quality Indian food.
Good food, friendly and quick service, lovely ambience...you are a winner Bahubali team...wish you all the best...will come back again
Great restaurant with a variety of food from indo Chinese to South Indian. Loved the food

Awesome food with Great service and wonderful ambience. Must visit place.
Excellent Food and service.. one of the finest restaurants in Melbourne..
Great food with nice service. Love to visit again with family and friends.
I Hope your Baahubali get more collections than Baahubali-2 movie.
Awesome food Quick service and great ambience!!!
I ordered takeaway from this place via Uber Eats so please bear this in mind when reading this review. Very happy with the samosas. My dosa was a decent size but it was a bit cold when it arrived. I ordered the egg dosa and it could have done with a bit more egg! Absolutely loved the condiments which makes anything taste amazing. Overall, I was happy with this meal.
Overall good.
Doesn’t taste like South Indian. Not that spicy food.
Got good amount of starters in plate.
Good to try different options.
Came here because it's the only place in the area that offers masala dosa. The dosa and the chutney's that came along it were delicious. Also enjoyed the chilli gobi. Will return.
We ordered Nutella Dosa. Nutella was not available so we had to order another dosa. Food was good. At the end we had a complementary Nutella dosa as the chef organised it by that time. Kids loved that. The mint chutney with Papad was lovely. We also loved veg Momos.
Always great take away! Best dosa in the area

Never been disappointed here . Great food.
Delicious! Delicious food and staff very friendly, highly recommend it! Butter chicken and naan always goes down a treat. Very quick with takeaway order and a nice customer discount, always appreciated!
It's a lovely Indian restaurant with definitely delicious food! Seems pretty authentic. We tried Fish 65, Goat biryani, Chicken fried rice and Mango lassi. Everything is absolutely delicious. Goat biryani is an absolute stand out! Must come back to try their extensive dosa menu 👍🏻
Sunday late afternoon. After some office work team decides to go for lunch (!) together and one of the recos come for Baahubali.
Armadale tram travel was not far from office but due to hunger it was feeling far.
Once reached restaurant, everyone was excited to see through booklet of menu enjoying Arijit Singh songs ☺️
Brass glasses for water and cutlery on table was inviting us to select dishes at the earliest. Instructions mentioned that pre-reservation is necessary for 6 plus guests but it seemed tables were available may be because we were late for lunch time.
Our order was onion pakoda, veg seekh kebab for starters. Both were well prepared crunchy and soft respectively. Pakoda was made with different style unlike round shapes as we get in India.
Main course was paneer tikka masala, veg kadhai and dal tadka. All dishes were tasty but obviously less spicy than ours type. Different options chosen for roti, nan, lachha paratha. Everything was in good portion. Jeera rice and dal was enjoyed at the end. Lassi (sweet and salty) was final course. Lunch was satisfying and fulfilling apt for Sunday afternoon. Stomach was so full that we decided to return by long walk 😊
If around Armadale area, certainly worth visiting Baahubali 👍
After looking through their extensive - and somewhat different to usual - menu, I settled on my personal usual; serve of Samosas to share, butter chicken, safron rice to share and garlic naan.
The Samosas came out quickly enough and were really good with just a slight kick to them. But we weren't completely finished eating them, when the main came out. I'm sorry, but that's not right in my opinion, and it was a struggle to get all the dishes onto the table with the Samosas still there. However ... everything I ordered was really nice. The garlic naan had an avocado paste on it, which made for a slight change from the norm.
The things I didn't like were ... Metal drinking cups for water, and there was a pungent smell of metal around us, from said cups. No change of both cutlery AND plates from entree to main; something I find kind of cheap and lazy for a restaurant. But the things I did like were the quick service and the delicious food.
If you like Indian cuisine, but want a menu that stands out a little from the rest, this is a good choice. While I did stick to my usual, when I go back again, I will definitely choose something a little out of the ordinary like the good looking Dosa's that they served to others. I do recommend Baahubali. Reasonably priced, too.

Tonight was the fourth time I’ve ordered take away/delivery from this restaurant. I must say, for the price it is twice as good as other Indian places in various locations around Melbourne. The quality of meat is fantastic and the depth of flavour in the curry sauces is great. There are better Indian restaurants in Melbourne... but none I’ve found in this price bracket. If the quality/price continues I will be a regular customer for years to come I’m sure!
One if the best Indian restaurants I have tried in Melbourne.
Delicious food, quality preparations and yumm!!
Dosa’s are super tasty and their chutneys are very good too. Tried several food items until now and all were very tasty and prepared with good efforts as the result is , yummm food :) Highly recommend to try it out!!
Fandom reaches another level! A popular movie lends its name to a restaurant. Just like the movie, Baahubali, the restaurant is also a hit for me. I have been here a couple of times or more, and I haven’t been disappointed yet. Their Chicken Tikka Salad is delicious . The menu is extensive so it may take you some visits to explore it all. Overall a good experience! One star less, because I feel the service could have been a little faster, atleast on slow days.
We have ordered from Baahubali quite a few times now. They have decent quality and quantity of food per order, and food in general is mostly fairly priced.
The last time however when we ordered the veg manchurian, the veg balls were very very hard for some reason and seemed like something went wrong there. Tasty food otherwise.
One of the best Indian restaurants in Melbourne! The food was exactly like how it would be in India. Loved the chilli chicken and chicken 65. Will definitely be back again!
One of the best Indian Restaurant in Melbourne. Authentic Hyderabadi Biryani’s.. The lamb chop were so tender and juicy! chilli chicken was perfect!!
I’ve ordered food from here twice, both times the food and customer service has been phenomenal. I strongly recommend the butter chicken and mutton biryani.
The Rating is more like 3.5 but due to Zomato's Changes, it's only accepting whole number ratings hence i chose a 4. The restaurant is located in a fairly busy street, which might cause you to look for parking for a while. The restaurant looks clean from inside and the brief interaction I had with staff while picking up my takeaway order was pleasant. Coming to the food, ordered Paneer Tikka Masala, Mutton Biryani, Chicken Chettinad (Suggestion from the host) and Butter Naan's. The Biryani was Hyderabadi so came with Raita and Salan, the stand out was the pieces of Goat which were really tender and how they are supposed to be. The flavor of the Biryani was fairly spot on as well. The Paneer Tikka Masala and the Butter Naan's were pretty good as well. My issue was with Chicken Chettinad which did not seem like a Chettinad to me but still had a good flavor to it. I was provided a 10% discount on my pick up which might have made me bump the rating up to 4. :) The place accepts Card payments although Amex attracts a Surcharge.
went here for a dinner after looking at good reviews. I must say this restaurant surpasses its reviews. each and every food item we ordered veg & nonveg was cooked to perfection, with right amount of spices (make sure you tell them how spicy you need your food, and itll be perfect).
Really delicious food and the service was lovely. Would definitely reccomend, especially the garlic naan....super tasty. If you cant handle spice, ask for super mild as the food is on the spicier side
Ordered through UberEats a few times and am never disappointed. The paneer chili is good but my favourite is the Andhra Podi Pulusu. I personally found it to be very spicy but everyone else loved it. Just make sure you have some Raita to soak up the heat 😊😊 we will definitely order again.
It was 5 in the evening and i found this place on Zomato. Looking at the name we rushed to the place. The food quality and quantity were good. Prices were affordable. The service was good but can be better. The place was clean and lit. But it can be more attractive if the ambience was designed apt to the title. Will be there soon.👍🏻
The food was delicious and great, especially the Biryani! The customer service was also lovely and the ambience of the restaurant too. Will definitely come back!
Stopped in here on the way home from a meeting and were instantly taken in buy the huge array of choices. I could have stayed here to eat everything off the menu. Will definitely be going back to try other things off the menu.
To begin with the name itself was so inviting and to my pleasant surprise the homely Indian food taste added to my over all experience of feeling home! Exceptionally warm courteous staff and a descent ambience. A filling meal for two costed us 30$ and it's for sure good value for money given the authentic taste they maintain. It's a new place but the crowd in the restaurant made me feel that they have been around for sometime. I have also ordered food home and their family packs of biryani is an awesome deal and a treat to your taste buds ;-)
Absolutely loved their food. It was so difficult for us to choose what to eat as they had over 100 dishes. My friends and I finally decided to eat dosas. Must say, best dosas in town. Try their kheema dosa and chilli chicken dosa.
Authentic tasty Indian cuisine in a relaxed atmosphere.
They were very helpful with questions and extremely child friendly.
The mango lassi was amazing, the naan fresh and the Tikka masala was delicious.
This place has only recently opened and I suspect will soon be very busy.
Absolutely delicious food and such friendly and warm service. I would definitely recommend the Hyderabad briyani, it stayed true to the authentic flavours of Hyderabad and will have me coming back for more.
