Only went in for a quick coffee food looked amazing from what we seen. Waitress didn’t really look like she wanted to be there that was the only downer. Def be back though thanks again
Hard to go past this place without stopping in for a coffee or bite to eat. A weekend breakfast is a must!
Absolutely loved this place! It’s small, cozy and easy to get to (just around a 15min walk from Armadale Station).
Ordered the Eggs Benedict. Being a big fan of hash browns, I just had to add the potato rosti, which I did not regret. The sourness of the woods relish really balanced out the buttery taste of the hollandaise. The crumpets were easy to cut into and really soaked up the flavours of the eggs.
Also got the green lantern juice which was super refreshing! Would recommend getting it especially if you’re just starting out your day. Would come back again to try their other items.
Just right for a light brunch.
I heard about Street Talk Espresso via my girlfriend and she heard about it through a Chinese app. Needless to say our expectations were high since the app praised this cafe quite a lot. And fortunately we weren’t disappointed. Came in around 11am and we ordered the usual Benedict Egg, French Toast and Ganola. But first we were greeted with two nice cups of latte which kicked off the morning in a pleasant way. Personally I enjoyed the Benedict Egg quite a lot since the sauce was perfectly balanced, not too buttery or too dry. Bacon was nicely done as well with hint of maple syrup which broke down the fattiness. French toast was also nicely done with nothing out of place. Ganola was ok with the coconut pudding and I think it went well with the grains and the fruits.
Overall a solid 4 out of 5 for me. Definitely gonna give them another visit in the future.
I’m gonna keep this short and sweet because my word it was amazing.
I sat out in the courtyard, the heaters were put on and I got rather cosy out back even in this cold weather. I was offered a drink and brought water. I ordered a ginger tea, to warm up my hands and hug the mug.
I ordered the donald trumpkin. It’s a smashed roasted pumpkin stack on top of a portobello mushroom with halloumi and a poached egg. The stack was like a high rise. The pumpkin was beautifully seasoned. Roasted to mushy perfection and was just so perfect in this cold weather.
My poached egg was also an 11/10.
I ordered prawns and tomatoes as a side. The prawns had a slight ginger spice to them and were just juicy and delicious.
Genuinely one of the tastiest brunches I’ve had in Melbourne and I’ve had over 80 now. This is a place to go for sure.

Beautiful sundrenched café, decked out well with greenery. I had the smashed avo which was quite good but was missing a zing like feta or something. Very light on the haloumi too. Try to get a table out in the sun to warm up in winter!

❤️: The Acai Bowl here is truly too good to resist, both aesthetically and taste wise. A pleasing bowl of acai sorbet, coyo ice cream, granola, fresh berries, and a tempting dollop of peanut butter.
I need to give a special mention for that coyo ice cream. It was THE BEST! Creamy, milky, not overly sweet, but yet dairy free! Oh god, I wish I could’ve had another one! Can’t wait to go back for more.

Came here on Saturday at peak brunch time and was able to seat straight away as it wasn’t too busy. I ordered the eggs Benedict that was on crumpets with the side of potato rostis, whilst my friend got the Donald Trumpkin. My meal was incredible with eggs perfectly cooked whilst the pumpkin meal looked and smelt amazing. The rostis were a little underwhelming giving they were $4.50 extra, seemed not at the same level as everything else. Would come again.
Whenever brunch is mentioned I think about hills of smashed avo, melted pieces of fried haloumi, perfectly poached eggs, a cup of quality coffee etc. etc. Street talk espresso has all of that and more. You can pick one of their signature dishes or build your own breakfast with all of the sides. Either way you’ll be happy.
This trendy cafe in Armadale offers delicious and unique dishes that are sure to wow! It has a beautiful interior and a undercover exterior. We enjoyed the famous French toast, or as some call it the ‘leaning tower of toast.’ My friend described this perfectly, it tastes like Christmas! Highly worth coming for these bad boys. We also got the Eggs Benny which was a favourite of mine. It’s served on crumpets which works well with the maple glaze on the bacon! We also got the Donald Trumpkin! It tasted fab and perfect if you’re looking for something a little healthier! I’d highly recommend popping down to this place!
My favorite french toast in Melbourne👌🏻! It’s got the right amount of sweetness, perfect amount of fruits, whisky and gold🥃, not to mention the most glorious golden challah toast! What else more can I ask for? ❤️
Tasty lunch that is light in your tummy: pesto zucchini noodle. A bit spicy cause of the jalapeno, but I like spicy so I don’t mind. Not regretting choosing this over the french toast tbh.
I love this cafe so much. Even though the dining area is not so big but they have outdoors seatings which is perfect for bright clear sunny weather.
Their service was so great. The staffs were knowledgeable and helpful. I had a ham and cheese croissant and a skinny latte, also ordered spinach feta cheese wrap which also tasted awesome. Overall, I really enjoyed my visit here.
Very welcoming and the staff are super ! Menu is excellent, the options all sounded amazing so had trouble deciding what to eat! Landed on the roasted veggies and it was amazing, GREAT value for what you get and didn't take long to prepare at all. Coffee is delicious and prepared promptly. Parking available on the side streets so easily accessible - would definitely go back!
Barista serves up a perfect Long Black here. Was amazed at the quality of the food menu as well, slow roasted lamb with chilli scrambled was spot on.
Another bonus; the lounge music here was better than some Chapel or Brunswick Street bars.
My first experience with an Australian cafe nearly four years ago, and is still my favourite today! The staff are friendly and welcoming, and always remember my usual coffee order. Their Eggs Benny is to die for! Even going for months at a time without a visit (we've moved suburbs), the staff still recognize us and have a great catch up chat. My number one since day one! XOXO
