I am actually surprised at the negative reviews. Wondering whether the place changed hands during the pandemic. We ordered takeaway twice here during our short stay in Armidale. The food was tasty so we came back the second time. We picked up our food though which means we won't have to wait too long for cold food, which is what the negative reviews are about. Recommend the pad thai and pad see yu.

I highly recommend PJ Thai restaurant as the best authentic Thai food in Armidale. My family and I spent three days in Armidale and ate at PJ's everyday. This restaurant is owned by a very lovely Thai family who use quality and fresh ingredients. The service was amazing and the owner, Sam provided excellent recommendations of dishes for us. You will not be disappointed. Next time I am in Armidale I will definitely dine here again.

The food was delicious. We ordered the red curry, Pad Thai, fried rice and spicy beef stir fry and they were all amazing! The owners were super nice and welcoming and talked to us a lot, the food was cooked very quickly and all the servers and staff were amazing. Definitely worth it!
