Managed to get a booking for table of 6 on a Saturday night. Absolutely loved every dish we had. Salted egg prawn, steamed fish and sweet tofu was was so delicious. Service was beyond excellent, such friendly and attentive staff. Got complimentary dessert and fruit after. Also a free bottle of hand sanitizer!! Will definitely be back.

The crab was perfect. The sauce was delicious and the price was quite reasonable.
Seating is ample in this restaurant and the staff are quite friendly just like any good old Singaporeans.

I came here for my birthday and it was great. We ordered 4 types of crab - Singaporean, Creamy white sauce, curry crab, soft shell and a bunch of other things. It was all delicious! The service was nice. It's just slightly less flavourful as Ashfield, but it's still good and I really can't make a complaint about it. I wanted to feast on delicious crabs for my birthday and I did here! :)

We had the prawn paste stuffed Chinese donut which was a unique availability I've not seen offered elsewhere. The green sauce it came with tasted very unique but you might want to go easy on it if you're on a diet!
The crispy and spicy fried squid was really nice and again, quite a unique and distinct offering.
The belachan beans were fresh and well cooked, with a nice crunch.
The CKT was quite average and was the weakest dish we ordered. No wok hei and fairly bland taste.
The service could definitely be improved slightly, with not too much friendliness nor empathy.
Overall, a good visit.
I love the Singapore chili crab here. This family owned restaurant has a good atmosphere, a good amount of seating, great food and service. I always come here either to eat in or takeaway and have never been disappointed
No fuss, straight up good tasting honest food. Fair pricing for chili crabs, taste is really good too. I remember it tasting the same as what I ate in Singapore! BRB is the term i would use since I want to go right back there for another meal.
The food here is delicious and full of flavor! There is no way you could leave here without being satisfied. The dishes I've tried here never disappointed me or my family at all. I really enjoyed my time here with my family and will always come back:))

the best laksa is served here at kreta ayer. the laksa here reminds me of that of the laksa I had in Singapore. it’s so yummy and very addictive.
love the cendol too. it reminds me of Malaysia 🇲🇾 which I was in the market trying my first ever cendol.
too bad they removed the complimentary lychee drink from the regular meal combo.
I would strong recommend this place. every meal I had here was always great and I always look forward on my next visit to this shop.
