The workers were so lovely and friendly, which I didn’t expect given how late it was in the evening.
We ordered the Shanghai spicy beef noodle soup and handmade fried noodles with chicken and vegetable.

Busy, buzzing, no fuss Chinese restaurant with a very extensive menu and good value offerings. Food was very tasty. Service was prompt. You don't come here for the atmosphere, lighting or decor - the food speaks for itself. Complimentary Chinese tea is a nice touch.
Ordered some steamed prawn dumplings, xiao long bao and shanghai noodles. It was $33.40 altogether without the drinks.

Unfortunately their chicken and veggie stir fry was just plain ingredients in salt water soup and there was no flavour or sauce, just excessive plain salt in plain water. Very disappointing. I couldn't even finish the meal.
Yum! We shared Panfried dumplings, shallot pancake, cold combination noodles, and mongolian lamb. There were tradies there straight from work, a very informal feel.

We have been going here since the 90s. High quality food at cheap and cheerful prices. My faves are the pan fried pork buns, steamed pork and chive dumplings, drunken chicken, pan fried dumplings plus many more. Service is homely, the boss is from Shanghai and has learnt Cantonese to serve customer
