Each time we’ve been to the courthouse we’ve had a good hearty meal and good service. They have specials throughout the week and the price list is average. Staff are friendly and the venue is clean. The cheese & bacon bread is delicious!
Booked here after getting some vouchers for food and drink, booked a table for 6, not really knowing what to expect, having vouchers to boost/attract business? Seated immediately, menus arrived shortly after. We used the tab system so all our food and drinks were on the one account, worked very well. The place was very busy, no lack of clientele I could see. Ordered steak and my wife ordered risotto. Risotto can be hit and miss sometimes, but when it came out, it was very good. My steak was well done but very tender and juicy, cooked perfectly. A very good meal in nice surrounds and the service was excellent. Overall, very good.
Traditional pub food that did not disappoint! The front doesn't look that great but when you go to the Bistro you can tell its new or been renovated to a more modern surroundings. Ordered at the bar. It was a really busy day but staff were very friendly & helpful. We were taking a few family members out for lunch & they are a fussy bunch but to our surprise they loved it! A few items that our guests had were Chicken Schnitzel, Parmagiana, Lamb souvlaki, grilled fish, hamburger etc. not one complain! Kids all got the kids meal that came with a drink, frog in a pond & activity pack, from memory it was $10-$15 great value. They had a play area set up with tv, play machines & PlayStation the kids loved & the parents even more so as they kids played happily while we could eat & watch them at the same time
What a different experience since the change if managers!! Awesome!! Great food, service and pricing. Will definately be back with the family :)
Good pub food. We have been back a few times. Lunch specials are great value for money and always tasty. Try the steak sandwich.
Love it. I'm a local and eat here fairly regularly. I've been pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food on a number of occasions and signed up to the site just to leave this review since the other two don't really do it justice. The place has a relaxed atmosphere and when the food is great it's phenomenal. I would and have recommended this place to people from out of town. Not being paid to write this incidentally, just appreciate good food.
All meals were good not fantastic but defiantly return if I'm ever in the area
We stopped here for lunch and so glad we did. The meals were lovely and a good portion for the price. Huge selection of drinks. The place was pretty busy so we had a long wait for the food to come out but that's understandable. We were served by a very nice gentleman, great with the kids. Clean area and plenty of parking. We will definitely be back.

Had a function there for our great grandson on Saturday 4th June.
About 30 people attended in all.
I had the roast of the day, my wife had pumpkin risotto, both were plentiful.
Other meals I noticed ( chicken parmigiana for example) were huge, actually probably too big.

Very generous on the portion sizes. Could bring in some better deserts but didn't take away from the meal. Bloody full and have decent beer on tap
Fantastic experience. We booked in advance for 4 and we’re glad we did for a Monday night. Heaps of parking very close, which was great! The food was terrific. Very tasty and a large variety for lunch and dinner which is what we had. Atmosphere was good and conducive to conversation. For those concerned you felt like you were sitting close to others but under non- Covid times you wouldn’t even notice it.
Took a client for lunch on a Tuesday. The meals were substantial and nicely cooked.They have specials on different days. The meals were reasonably priced.
That was our first visit to the Courthouse Hotel but will definitely go again, will probably become a regular.
