Love coming to this healthy, wholesome Balgowlah cafe when out walking the dogs at North Harbour Reserve. So many tasty breakfast and lunch options here but of utmost importance is their delicious coffee! Toasties, salads, baked goods and ploughman's platters are all great! They also sell the best home baked doggie treats which our little guys salivate for and have now come to expect! 🐶
What a find!!! 👍 Popped into Forty Beans today for a bit of a girly morning catch up after a family member suggested we check out Forty Beans. We were not disappointed!
This is a small-ish venue with a large table and bench seating along the windows looking out onto the beach. The young female waitresses are an absolute asset to this business with their chipper and friendly manner. We had the toasted cheese, ham and veggie focaccia which was delightful, it lovely and fresh (not mass produced).
The homemade desserts also seemed very popular amongst the other patrons.
Coffee's were enjoyed by all, not too bitter.
This little gem is the ideal location for a bite to eat within a relaxed and chilled setting outside the hustle and bustle of Manly.

Thought i stay a bit local on the weekend.
Situated hidden amongst valleys and hills in a quiet slice of suburbia, hush... its forty beans. Always a pleasure to plan a dog beach and walk day with others to trek the little bushland, admire the view of white yachts, boats and mini dingys on the oyster crusted stone barriers.
This little cafe is your ordinary cafe with pluses like quality food and service. The price is expected for this region.
We had the aracini , bit softer than what we are used to, however the salad is very well put together, the chickpeas were all coated well and the flavour is great!
The forty beans platter was simple. Very. However, humble and well presented. No fuss. Which is what i love about this place, always consistent presentation and food. The ham and cheese and relish are high quality. The bread crusty just way i love it.
The coffee was tobys estate which I cant fault. They have a really cute retro cup for milk shakes, tasty treat!
Worth a. visit with your pup. Great views, amazing service.
