Not friendly at all!!!!.... They lady what took my takeaway order. I asked her how long waiting time and she said 20min, I paid over 30.- in cash. After 30 min I came back and my order wasn't still not ready, I asked her and she was soo.. rude to me ,even behind me people came new in and even they said wow that's very rude and loud. They lady didn't like when I said I'm waiting now over 45min ,she yelled out to me and even didn't apologised.
Yep,they food was ok but the rest of it like service was very low and disappointing.
Never will be coming back.

Really sweet Mum and Dad type chinese restaurant. Has a very neighbourhood, local feel.
Service was very warm and friendly. The prices are great. And while the food is not my favourite chinese in Ballarat, is still very good.

Love this restaurant. IMO the best Chinese in Ballarat. Never had a mistake to my order as I order no onions. Price point is normal. Owners and staff are always friendly

Great value Chinese takeaway. Enjoyed the flavour and amount of veges with the stir fry dishes. Spring rolls are an absolute must. Will be back for more. Mongolian Chicken was a stand-out dish, yes please gimme more oh la la

We love the food here. Have dined in many times and food is always great. 5 for the food and 4 for the service...gives a 4 1/2! On our second visit we asked that we have a small gap between courses and from then on that is what we got. Kim is so friendly and helpful. The friends I have taken have also been really impressed with the food.

Nothing awesome about this Chinese but it wasn't disappointing either living close by so we will be back. Ps special fried goes alright. 3/5 stars

Great take away very tasty!! Honey chicken was very tender! Service was friendly and fast.<br/>Also had the dim sims ( great ) and the oyster combination (brilliant)

Excellent value and taste. I have been enjoying Golden up takeaway for over 10 years now, service is great, food is lovely. Lunchtime specials are affordable and good size. My favorite pork in plum sauce in Ballarat!

Best Chinese Food In Wendouree and Ballarat. I first visited the Golden Up with my husband in August and I have been waiting to go again. We went there again and the food was really fresh and yummy. Kim is great and will make whatever you want, however you want to order it. Favorite restaurant in town :)

I enjoyed everything I ate from this restaurant tonight.<br/>I had the honey chicken which in most chinese restaurants around town is deep fried to a crisp, but here it was fried yet soft. A welcome change.<br/><br/>The fried rice was cooked well and tasted better than most I've had around Ballarat.<br/><br/>The winner for me however was the Char Shiu (Chinese Roast Pork) entree. It had an immediate delicious BBQ pork smell and tasted amazing! Will definitely be back.
