We love the food here. Have dined in many times and food is always great. 5 for the food and 4 for the service...gives a 4 1/2! On our second visit we asked that we have a small gap between courses and from then on that is what we got. Kim is so friendly and helpful. The friends I have taken have also been really impressed with the food.

Great take away very tasty!! Honey chicken was very tender! Service was friendly and fast.
Also had the dim sims ( great ) and the oyster combination (brilliant)

Best Chinese Food In Wendouree and Ballarat. I first visited the Golden Up with my husband in August and I have been waiting to go again. We went there again and the food was really fresh and yummy. Kim is great and will make whatever you want, however you want to order it. Favorite restaurant in town :)

I enjoyed everything I ate from this restaurant tonight.
I had the honey chicken which in most chinese restaurants around town is deep fried to a crisp, but here it was fried yet soft. A welcome change.

The fried rice was cooked well and tasted better than most I've had around Ballarat.

The winner for me however was the Char Shiu (Chinese Roast Pork) entree. It had an immediate delicious BBQ pork smell and tasted amazing! Will definitely be back.

Really sweet Mum and Dad type chinese restaurant. Has a very neighbourhood, local feel. Service was very warm and friendly. The prices are great. And while the food is not my favourite chinese in Ballarat, is still very good.

The Best Chinese food in Ballarat and around suburbs. The wait is certainly worth waiting for. I've been going to this same person for over 30 years now. Kim is an Absolutely Beautiful Lady. ❣️

Love this restaurant. IMO the best Chinese in Ballarat. Never had a mistake to my order as I order no onions. Price point is normal. Owners and staff are always friendly

Great value Chinese takeaway. Enjoyed the flavour and amount of veges with the stir fry dishes. Spring rolls are an absolute must. Will be back for more. Mongolian Chicken was a stand-out dish, yes please gimme more oh la la
