One of the best country bakeries. Love their famous vanilla slice and profiteroles. My favourite pies are chicken green curry and normal pie. Plus bread is so reasonably priced.

Love Kings bakery ! The jam donuts are the best I've ever had ever ! I used to get one almost everyday after high school ! Sometimes the lady would chuck in a couple freebie donuts ! There's not really anywhere to sit and eat other than out the front but it's the perfect stopby takeaway bakery !

Hands down the best profiteroles I've ever, I repeat ever had!! I used to live upstairs next door and would often grab a box of profiteroles to share with my house mates or a coffee scroll (also yummmm). Now I live 2 hours away, but will still pop in when I'm in Ballarat. Seriously good!!

After moving into Ballarat East it's nice to find a bakery like this nearby. Got a loaf of bread, some croissants and had to get a second of their ham, cheese, egg and bacon triangles (served hot) after the first one was so delicious.

Love their vanilla slice... Best profiteroles ever!!! Their pies are also great but I enjoy their chicken avocado salad rolls for less than $5. Have fond memories of coming here as a kid with my mum and watching them make fresh cinnamon donuts ... Taste great fresh too!

Vanilla slice was amazing!! Had a sausage roll which was also good, wife had a pie, she said was amazing! She also ordered custard tart which she thought was nice too! We are not locals but stopped here by chance and can't recommend it enough!

Visiting Ballarat and needed a pie and slice fix. Agree the vanilla slices are worth the 2 trips I’ve made to the bakery during our stay. Busy shop so be prepared to wait but I can assure you it’s worth the effort.

my go to place for vietnamese pork roll! affordable price and amazing taste. they also do girlic chicken roll, salad roll, etc. highly recommended

Long live the king of French Vanilla slice! Yeah bought a tray of 4, and only 2 of them made it out of Ballarat alive. Somebody had icing sugar spilt all over his car and down the front of him, I wonder who that was? Seriously good food overall and their prices are great.

We've been getting profiteroles from Kings Bakery for a few years now and they're amazing. I've recently tried their Vanilla slice and Kings Bakery have stepped into the top spot for getting a Vanilla slice in Ballarat. Simply elegant! Great place to visit if you enjoy baked goodies.

Do yourself a favour and get the tray of profiteroles. You won't be sorry. Great little bakery and really lovely staff.
