Good drive thru bakery with option to eat-in. Very friendly and inviting. Good coffee. Always hot. Great donuts and slices. Kids meals. Lunch deals. Can get abit busy in drivethru however it seems to move reasonably quick.

You have to be kidding about it having Australias best Vanilla slice. Very disappointed �. Soggy pastry and very average. As for the pies , could not even finish it , very bland and very floury . Will not be returning

Dad saw the bakery review on T.V. regarding vanilla slice award winner so on our travels we hunted down the winner and much to our delight the Vanilla Slice lived up to all expectations. Light crispy pastry, fluffy vanilla custard and sticky icing...YUM!! Well worth the drive from Adelaide �

Came just for the Vanilla Slices. Custard was fabulous! Would have liked icing sugar on top instead of the sticky icing - but I'm just being picky! Overall - was very happy! Love Vanilla Slices sooooo much!! Chocolate Eclairs were really good too!

A wide variety of food in such a small place .would love to work for the one in wendouree or Sturt street . I love to cook making pizza ,breads desserts and meals like side dishes ,entrees and main are really good. Could learn heaps more which be good . nice and clean store .everyone happy . would be a good first time job.

Best vanilla slice ever!!! But have been disappointed of all things with their tasted sandwiches ... The bread was too thick that I couldn't taste the chicken, cheese and avocado fillings.

A good choice for a quick and easy light meal. You can drive through which can be a plus for some. Coffee is alright. You can't expect amazing coffee from a chain but it's reasonable. Toasted cheese tomato sandwiches are well priced for something substantial on the run

Having received the silver trophy at the 2014 Merbein Vanilla Slice Challenge I went for a drive in search of this one. I have to say that I wasn't disappointed. Fresh, creamy, vanilla flavoured custard. Crisp pastry that cuts beautifully and generous layer of fondant icing. Very good overall. Well worth the drive. Nice to know this place exists for when I'm next in Ballarat.
