This vintage and cool hotel restaurant has made our one-day trip more fun. My fav one was chips with ketchup. The wagyu beef was also good but the market fish is a bit salty. While we enjoyed our food a lot and the interior design was really beautiful.
Really enjoyed my experience at Lola. What’s not to love? I came in at 7:30pm on a Friday, sans booking, seated immediately at a lovely corner table, overlooking the dining room. What a fantastic and warm dining experience. Decor, service and food were all on point. Would highly recommend stay at the Provincial to enhance the whole experience. Definitely will be back!

We stayed at The Provincial over the weekend & thoroughly enjoyed being able to wander downstairs to Lola’s for breakfast and dinner. The food was beautiful, service & attention to detail spot on. All staff were very friendly and accommodating. Continental Breakfast Grazing Board is a genius idea!
Top quality French restaurant. If you want a truly classy place to dine in Ballarat this is the go! In my food photo you can see the gruyere gnocchi in the foreground and the duck dish in the background.
