Review Nando's - Ballarat

Dry veggie pita. Lemon and herb base wasn’t spread throughout and it made the pita very very dry. Additionally, the patty was dry too, seemed line it was re heated/cooked. Halloumi cheese inside the pita was less. The staff should understand that the customer is paying extra for something and they should give proper quantity. I’ve had this item at many other Nando’s and I could say this was the worst of all. Never going here again. Apart from this we had to ask the staff 2-3 times for sauces.

Have been going to this Nandos for a few years now. When I first started visiting the restaurant, I found everything to be stated at a high standard and the connection I had with the staff was at a family-like level. Cleanliness, quality of food and staff friendliness were all at a level that created a feeling to return to the restaurant time and time again. On every instance that I dined at the restaurant, I knew all the staff members by name and vice versa. The restaurant has gone through some staff and building change throughout the last couple of years, with the most recent interior change just happening over the past few weeks. The new interior of the building has a modern feel and the staff have risen back to the high standard they set when I first started visiting the restaurant years ago. The food has always been well delivered and filling. Personally Nandos is and always will be one of my favourite food franchises and I will continue to dine at the restaurant for years to come. I hope that through the feedback on here and instore, the management is able to gain confidence in what they are doing, and continue the high standard into the future.

Delicious food that is consistent with other Nando's restaurants. Chicken was well cooked and we'll seasoned, and chips were delicious. The garlic pita was a very nice side dish; tasted like cheesy garlic bread. You can also get extra hot sauce for your meal if you ask. My only criticism is that the 1/4 chicken was fairly varied in size. We ordered three and two of them were mostly bone and not much meat whereas the other was almost twice the size with a lot more meat. But I understand that there are different parts of a chicken and it's hard to be so consistent. Service was excellent. The food was served fairly quickly. The staff were very polite and helpful. There is also a sink on the side to wash your hands before and after eating, which is especially important during these times of COVID. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience.

The service at the Ballarat store tonight was absolutely pathetic, my partner made comment it was our 8 year anniversary and while the smartarse chef/cook or whatever he is preparing the meal he proceeded to mock my partener on the comment she had made which she could overhear from where she was waiting. This is absolutely not on and during such a tough time with being locked down they should be happy to even have customers to keep their doors open. A big thumbs down

Thought I’d enjoy dinner in the restaurant for the first time! I had a good chat with the manager Brandon! He made my experience with my gf one to enjoy!! He served the food extremely quick! Very tasty! Things like this bring me back!! Great team for Ballarat! Thank you

Can't go wrong with Nando's! I was not dissaponted this time when I visited Ballarat Nando's because the chips were hot, fresh from the deep fryer and the 2 whole chickens was cooked to perfection , juicy, lots of Peri-Peri Hot sauce . The down side was they ran out of corn cobs... :(

Visited ballarat for the weekend and decided to eat at nandos. The girl in the counter made us feel rushed in completing our order and i wanted to order caramelised onions on the side which i will pay for, she said they cannot do it because it cannot be cooked in a grill. I know for sure onions are cooked in a flat top and i have ordered this on a side plate every time i dine in at nandos. I asked for extra basting but the chicken came out dry. Not satisfied!

Rediculously expensive for a chicken burger and chips. <br/><br/>At beast at grilled the food sizes are larger and healthier.

Nando's Ballarat is a great store, clean, friendly, and reliably delicious. I've been a regular since it opened, and will continue to go back!

One of them best Nandos I have eaten. Food was fresh service good and restaurant especially CLEAN.

Nice chicken. Though the staff missed our side salad, it only took 30 seconds for them to bring us one.

Typical. Nothing special here, the food's consistantly what I expect. Borderline between over priced and you get what you pay for.
