Typical cafe, but done exceptionally well. I think a couple own it and they seem real nice and friendly. Best breakfast I've had in Ballina, so I went for lunch there too. Their caesar salad was awesome. I'm a chef, and I know that was a homemade dressing. All in all, great place and highly recommended.
Absolutely outstanding, the food was 5 star restaurant quality. Gordon Ramsey would find it almost impossible to fault this cafe, never had such polite , efficient service in a cafe in my life. Cant believe the quality of the food at such an affordable price. Absolutely top notch cafe. The cook must be an angel sent down from the heavens
Being currently my husband's carer in Ballina Hospital I was fortunate to observe a delivery of freely given Coffee to the wonderful dedicated nurses. I was touched to see their gratification. Congratulations to Main Street Cafe. When I have the time after this stay here my plan is to make a donation to the cafe.
I and a friend stopped here for breakfast as visitors we were made feel welcome and the staff were very polite the breakfast was fantastic eggs done just as we asked for the both of us were very impressed by the service so to all other visitors Main Street Cafe is a must. Thank you to the Staff and Owners we will be back again in the near future.

Had a cup of tea and a thick shake. All good. Worth the detour to Ballina off the highway.
The Cafe has a comfortable, lay-back feel to it which is very inviting. Don’t let that fool you. On entering you are greeted by TJ (Front of House) who is cheeky, polite & welcoming making your whole gustation experience a memorable one. The culinary delights are reasonably priced, (salads, burgers, pastas, fish, etc.), the chef (a well renowned local) excels in her own special salad which is a hit with the locals. We highly recommend that dish. We often visit Ballina we always call in for a lunchtime meal.
