My favorite cafe!!! Ticks all the boxes. Great coffee, amazing staff & fantastic atmosphere!
Have been to this cafe a couple of times for takeaways over the isolation period! I order a soy latte which always tastes great, stays warm and I select the extra large size which is three shots and perfect for when you want a large dose of caffeine. They also have a variety of long life milk and coffee supplies for anyone wanting to make their coffee at home. Keen to revisit this cafe when it’s safe to dine in again!
Daniel and Nick are great, they know you coffee order and are always friendly to all who come in. Real local coffee shop vibe....pitty no hot food, but different concept. Also would be great if they opened on a Sunday morning for my coffee.

This is an underrated place in the unassuming Booroondara shopping centre. It’s an easy flat 4.0 for me. You’ve got to give credit to places that get the basics right and this one does. This is a nice bright open cafe. It has a good, comforting and reassuring fitout with attractive tables and benches. There’s an ample amount of room inside because they haven’t tried to fill every available space with a table. Plus, there’s a lovely well ordered back area too. As best I could tell, everything was meticulously ordered and spotless. It’s has a nice atmosphere all over this place. They had a fun blues soundtrack on. My coffee today was quite good. Not top draw but perfectly fine. It was well served and very enjoyable. It’s a real local cafe here because numerous people came in and were treated like long lost friends by the owner/manager who was loving the music and dealing very nicely too with the young server on duty. I’m giving extra marks for the nice atmosphere as well as, and I’m serious, the lovely real fresh flowers placed on every table. Every single table. Not just one. A thoughtful little arrangement noting that I’ve been to a series of places lately with very ordinary real plants, some dead or on their last legs, or, worse, fake. Having real stuff deserves a pat on the back. One final delightful moment here. The sort of hyperactive owner manager got a phone call at one point got a phone call which he answered, “hello lovely, how’s it going...”. Presumably the wife, partner or girlfriend calling. Pretty impressive response. I’m a sucker for it. I’ll go for the nice places every time.
Cute cafe located in a small side road off the busy thoroughfare Bullen Road.
Within this small cafe you can definitely find yourself getting great coffee and a variety of small offerings such as muffins, biscuits and focaccias. Beautifully decorated and modern inside this place is often bursting with people in peak periods trying to get their caffeine fix.
Coffee is on the expensive side and their is no indication of price for all the items found in the cabinet which often leaves you paying more than what you first thought.

You can't beat Bobbi's coffees. Great Atmosphere & amazing friendly staff. They also have the best rolls! Ticks all the boxes. My favorite Cafe in Melbourne!
Coffee is a tricky one as its so personal but let me tell you we have both never had a bad coffee
They have all milk options with an incredible lively atmosphere.

It is simply amazing !! The best iced coffee I have ever tasted. Food is good too, quiet cozy place most importantly spectacular customer service(two young lads and a middle aged man was serving at that time). I will be visiting the joint when I'm around Balwyn next time.we need more places like this :)
Turtle has done a majic job with the coffee here. As far as coffee goes there is no better in Melbourne, it's 30 mins from the city, but if you are a serious coffee connoisseur you should not miss this place. He has all the milks, yes Full cream, skim, soy and almond milk. The chai almond is ridiculously good but they make fun of men who drink it. The place is always packed and there are a variety of blends and single origins. The coffee is hot and robust and the boys are full of passion and happiness. I've only had Italian doughnuts and Danish's but the food looks great. For the record my wife has owned a number of coffee shops and she says this is the best coffee she has ever had....big statement.
A lot to like about this place.....unless you want a quiet coffee time.
The noise level of some patrons can be deafening....it's definitely not the place you want to conduct a morning meeting nor discuss a serious conversation.
Apart from the exquisite coffee that Daniel and his team are extracting on a daily basis, this place is always full of Italian female congregations, who always love their conversations filled with passion.
So if you love great coffee without the noise, either do take away, go the the back or maybe the footpath or maybe after midday.
Don't forget those Nutella Donuts and Custard Croissants....and a few other sweet things in the house.

I'm going to wax lyrical for a few paragraphs so that my review goes beyond seven simple words: This is the best coffee in Melbourne.
The team formerly behind Caffe Romeo, before it lapsed, bring you the same amazing brew. No gimmicky single origin, organic warm bean soup. This is just good Italian coffee - roasted and creamy and delicious.
As if to reinforce the point that this is a Place For Coffee, the only food on offer are pastries and sweet things. Screw your healthy choices, live a little. "European style", Daniel assures me.
If you're in the area, this should be your go to for good coffee. If you don't, it's worth the drive over the leafy east side.
