What a lovely ambiance and comfortable vibe this place has. Coffee is to perfection, service is with a smile and very friendly .i had the chili scrambled eggs special. And YUMMO!! can't wait to go back to chillax in a warm and cozy environment and a place i can call truly ,"my" good neighbours..

Spacious/pleasant atmosphere with excellent/prompt services in a quite shopping strip surrounded by residential area and a parkland. Benedict with mushrooms and kale were beautifully presented and delicious. Loved latte and freshly brewed chai in a pot. Kids pancake was generous sizing. Love to go back.
Have never eaten a bad meal here!! Industrial chic layout, friendly staff and a menu that is delicious without needing a ridiculous number of options. Iāve been here with friends and for family gatherings and always enjoyed the experience. Make sure you try their lunchtime pasta, itās amazing!
Really lovely cafe with yummy reliable food. Definitely get the side of mushrooms as they were delish! Will be back again to get the other amazing sounding vegetarian meals they had on the menu
The food tasted great and appeared to be of good quality. The coffee and matcha latte were perfect. The service was great. The place is lovely with a small but spacious interior feel that appears very clean and stylish. There is a relaxing calm ambience about the place and we enjoyed our slow relaxing Sunday morning enjoying brunch there.

**4.5 stars** Iām so glad to have visited this place. My boyfriend goes to Balwyn North every fews weeks for a hair cut and we have been to almost all the cafes in the area - thereās actually not that many in this suburbā¦ Anyway, we were really surprised by the quality of food as they were amazing. Let me start by commending the great customer service - staff are friendly and attentive. In terms of the food, we ordered the breakfast classic āAvocado Smashā which was well balanced. The extra oil spread on top of the crispy-crusted sourdough breads was a smart move (I donāt like the usual plain toast served with smashed avocado). Meanwhile, the āRaspberry Waffleā was packed with flavour, thanks to the seasonal fruits as well as the maple syrup and berry coulis. The waffle was as it should be: warm, crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Drinks-wise, the coffee was nice and strong while the matcha latte was a tad bitter (nothing a little bit of sugar didnāt fix). Overall, thereās a great vibe to this space. Itās equipped with both indoor and outdoor seating. The interior design includes white walls, wooden frames and hanging pendant lights. Thereās also music playing softly in the background. I will definitely be coming back here the next time weāre in Balwyn North.
Was checking out for good cafe in the neighbourhood on a cold rainy Sunday and saw this cafe with good review just 5mins drive away. What a blast! Coffee is excellent and food is definitely top restaurant worthy! Found they have dinner too with wine list! Complimented the owner/chef Jason and left tips too! Finally an exceptional honest cafe in the community that beat most from the city ! Will be back with friends !!! Took pics of dinner menu here.
Very nice small local cafe, staff are very friendly and food tastes good! I had a Saturday brunch with my friend, we both enjoy the time. Definitely will come again!
This cafe was quiet when I visited with my partner and two boys, ages 12 and 8. It's on a fairly quiet road and parking wasn't an issue. The service was swift and friendly. My scrambled eggs with bacon and chilli were excellent. The toast was thick and fresh, as it should be. I am not a coffee buff but it tasted good to me. I'd recommend this place but would note that I have tried to book a table before work and was told it didn't open until 8. Perhaps that was a mistake?

A lovely local cafe with all the essential elements to reward a lazy Sunday morning. Nice coffee and plenty options for a carbs lover. Must try the curry rice bowl š. Home made curry flavor and creamy mushroom sauce bring the taste to the next level. Definitely worth the 30 minute drive. 5 āļø
Cute little cafe with good menu. The staff was super attentive and fast at service. Food was good except the Matcha latte which didnāt turn out to be as smooth as expected. Must try the dessert.
Pop in for a quick lunch on a Sunday, food serve quick and taste decent, ordered a green tea noodle salad and soy chai (no problem pouring which is good). Not hard to find parking despite being on the weekend, staffs were friendly and attentive which I appreciate. I sat at the bench with cushions but tables were placed a bit crowded to my personal liking.
Love this Japanese Cafe! Nice omelette curry rice and lotus chips! However, saw one of the staff was stamping paper cups with their logos and put those cups together immediatelyšµāš« The undried ink will go into another cup. šµāš«
Came for the omelette and was not let down - very creamy and light. The curry had a great flavour too. The mushroom sauce was very light and a unique addition. Matcha latte was ok. Good to see tea leaves in the Chai! Serving sizes were perfect for breakfast but could be more substantial for brunch/lunch.
Beautiful place. Great staff! simple , elegant and tasty food. The curry omelette rice is my favourite. Definitely going back there again. Hojicha latte was excellent.
Came here and got the udon carbonara and Benedict. Would recommend against the Benedict as the meat was pretty tough. However, the udon carbonara, let me just say was on point. The mushroom, chicken and udon blended perfectly creating an Asian fusion experience that rivals even the best in Melbourne. The crunchy seaweed gives you a break from the heavy flavour of the carbonara and cleans the palette to allow to experience the magic all over again. Only critique would be to have more chicken to balance the meal out a bit.

This place I have returned a few times since the first visit. Very nice little Cafe in a quiet surrounding in Balwyn Road, with a handful of locality shops around, can feel many locals attend the Cafe regularly.
Foodwise I have tried a few different dishes, the beef bulgogi was very very avarage and not worth the price it charges, I would not recommend it. The egg curry in the other hand is actually quiet good, as the Japanese curry has the right amount mildness, the egg topping is cooked to the right level with a smiget of raw egg running down from the top wich gives it a very silky and smooth texture, ghily recommended.
The service is very subjective as I have attend on the different days and they have a different set of waitresses and barrister, the service level was very very different when compared. There are times where you get served warm & quickly and days where you get ignored by the waitresses. It is only personally experience, so most likely be different to others.
The coffee is nice only when the Asian male barrister is making the coffee's.
