Excellent pizzas with great crust. Pasta dishes excellent too. Friendly and efficient staff. It's our first time, definitely coming back!
Ordering take away was so easy and quick. Excellent service thanks...
came to Via Condotti tonight for my Grandma’s birthday for a lovely Italian meal, had heard from
others that the pizza was really good here so we came! it was a very quiet Sunday night but the service was friendly and quick! the staff were very welcoming and accommodating to allergies, making sure what i was ordering was definitely gluten free to cater for me!
as an entree i ordered the fried calamari which excited me because fried calamari is never gluten free! i wanted to share this with my brother and i did ask the waiter if it was appropriate to share and he said it was a good amount for sharing.. i was disappointed when it came out and there wasn’t much on the plate at all.. nevertheless the calamari itself was incredible! so flavoursome, i could of kept eating so much of it!
i then chose the “gabriella” pizza with the gluten free base which had fior di latte, prosciutto, rocket and cheese. The pizza wasn’t oily at all and so light to eat! i also got to try the yummy “con carne” pizza (also gluten free base) with mozzarella, ham, salami and sausage, also not oily and so crispy!
pretty decent night and service was great! i would be back to try a different pizza as there are so many options, plus more calamari! :)
Decided to re visit this restaurant on Saturday night, with its new owners and new restaurant name after a disastrous experience on three previous occasions with different owners in the past years. We were pleasantly surprised with the professional and friendly staff that greeted us on arrival. The menu is a basic Italian menu with quite a few popular Italian dishes and a great selection of wood fired pizzas. The dishes that we chose ( linguini marinara, grilled calamari and fried calamari) were beautifully cooked. The only disappointment was another table who were very loud, arrogant and rude, did not give a dam about anybody else in the restaurant but themselves. Felt sorry for the staff that had to serve them during the night. We had to leave in a hurry after our meal because we could not hear ourselves think. Overall a professionally run restaurant with efficient friendly staff offering a basic Italian menu which was well cooked with fresh ingredients. Will definitely be back soon.
Delicious pizza! The crust is not soggy like some woodfired pizza can be. Crispy and the perfect amount of topping. The service here is fantastic and have recommended to many friends! Will have to come back and enjoy some other things off the menu!
This could be our new favourite Italian restaurant. Been a few times now and everything has been great. We like the decor, the regional music, the friendly service, and of course the food. Tasty traditional spaghetti and wood fired pizza, and a varied selection of tempting daily specials. Wine bar at reasonable prices, or BYOW (add corkage). Added bonus for us is it’s close! Yay!
Delicious food and warm friendly restaurant. Excellent service. The down side is the corkage. Our party consisted of 3 people and we had two bottles of wine. We were charged $10 per bottle for corkage. For a small restaurant in the suburbs this is too much. The most we have been charged for BYO corkage has been between $3 -$5 per person. We will not return to this restaurant owing to this high corkage charge. If they review this charge we will be back.
Great restaurant and well worth a visit - or takeaway - best Italian I've had in awhile.
Pasta is always fresh and wood fired pizza is excellent
Thank you to the chef whom created a vegan pasta dish for me when I came last night :) really appreciated it and also for checking in with me too!
Wait staff attentive and helpful
Nice pizza.............Really good service!!! ............Would like to try their pasta and other meals next time I go! Chips were also yum!
