Will return. Unlimited skewers. Many options of pre cooked food while waiting for your skewers to cook.

❤️The atmosphere at the restaurant was so nice and the staff was kind. The food was also the best. The quality of the skewer was good, and the fun of eating it was to go again. 🍢🍻👍🏻😎🍺

It was such a good restaurant. All meat was even fresh than I expected. And when we wait for the meat cooked, it’s simple because the rolling grill is automatic so you just put meat on the grill and just wait. That’s all. The flavor of wagyu was very juicy. I want to revisit there next time :)

Absolutely delicious. Plenty of meat, beef, pork, and seafood skewers to choose from. Along with a wide selection of sides to eat. Would highly recommend.

Really good food for a really great price! Went to the lunch buffet and was a reasonable selection, everything was fresh and tasty, and using the little grill is great fun! I imagine there is more of a selection for dinner, will absolutely have to go and see. Most staff were friendly, the young man that was there was absolutely wonderful. Highly recommended, will definitely be back.

Absolutely loved it. Friendly staff, great food that is constantly being replenished. A huge variety of sides, my favourites are the Japchae (sweet potato noodles) and the bulgogi wow! Great flavours. This place is awesome they offer a large halal section too. Will definitely be going for a third time!

Excellent food, fresh and delicious. Meat sticks great or you can try noodles or other rice dishes. Fried chicken excellent too. Not to expensive considering it is all you can eat and charcoal rotisserie style is includes and very fun.

Really enjoyed a lunchtime visit to this restaurant. Good selection of meats, seafood and vegetable sticks to BBQ over coals with a little machine to do the turning. Excellent range of supporting dishes including Korean pickles of different types, a good range of salads and dishes like bulgogi and spicy pork , with fired and steamed rice and fruit to finish. Staff were really attentive and helpful (Hi to Jackie!)

We originally went to Little Saigon Plaza in Bankstown to try another restaurant. However, we couldn't resist the temptation to try Kushi Charcoal Skewer Buffet, or we'll call it Kushi Bankstown in this post. It's even crazier to see the price at $19 for the lunch buffet!. The main attraction for Kushi Bankstown is obviously its skewers. They have three different types of skewers: normal, seasoned and spicy.

All the savoury food, including the fried chicken was sweet. You can't give sweet food a savoury taste and the same way savoury food should not taste sweet. Very disappointed, didn't think it would be that sweet...

My fiancé and I have visited this place so many times. Each time we have brought a couple of friends that were willing to try. I love the idea of the mini skewers, great service and amazing food. I have had other sweet chili fried chicken but here has been the best. We were quite pleased as they are halal which is suitable to our needs.
Always replenishing the food, our favourite are the beef ribs they have. They are reasonably priced for an all you can eat buffet with a variety of different quality meats and sides. Pricing is like everywhere else so it isn’t an issue at all. Love this place and definitely recommend to try. If it’s a first, definitely must hav where japchae noodles and chicken wings as well as their juicy skewers.

Went all the way to Bankstown for the all you can eat dim sum dinner but they don’t have it anymore. Had to pick something else instead so we tried out this gimmicky skewers barbecue place.

Priced at $39 per person with a 1.5 hour limit, the food was not really up to par. The 3 salad on offer were not appetizing at all and I couldn’t be bothered. The meat on skewers were very lean and diced to very small pieces so they were mostly too dry to eat when cooked. The sauces and seasoning provided on the side didn’t help much either as they were heavily watered down. Also worth noting is the small stove and long cooking time, if you are in a big group you will have to count on hot items to fill you up.

There were sushi, fried chicken wings, chips, beef bulgogi and japchae as well. Unfortunately the sashimi was not that fresh and the fried chicken wings with sauce were too soggy. Beef bulgogi and japchae were probably the best items as they tasted normal. On the other side of the buffet table were 6-8 banchan (Korean side dishes) that tasted not bad but I can have them for free at any Korean restaurants anyway.

In the middle of the buffet area was a hot soup booth with 2 compartments, one filled with boiled fish cakes in clear soup and spicy soup in the other. Instant noodles, condiments and containers were on the side for customers to make their own army stew or fish cake soup but there was no way the soup was hot enough to cook the noodles thoroughly so they will have to place the container on the charcoal and wait for it to boil. Whoever came up with this idea should experience this himself/herself. With such a small ‘stove’ to cook the skewers, there was simply not enough space to heat up my noodle broth and cook the meat at the same time.

As for drinks, only water, tea bags and coffee sachets were available. Seriously, they should at provide at least 2-3 types of juice or iced tea at this price.

Last but not least, they got crazy sour orange slices, marshmallows taken straight out from packages, canned fruits in syrup and random rice crackers as desserts.

Overall a very disappointing meal that’s incredibly overpriced. We left the place with our stomach half empty and not satisfied. They got a lot to work on in terms of food quality and variety.

It was our first time at a korean buffet and barbeque (so we cannot compare quality to other places) but we were pleasantly surprised by the variety of korean food available at such a reasonable price point ($25pp, lunch on Father’s day). Place was not too crowded (the area where we sat at had mirrors to make the space look larger!) and felt very family friendly. The skewer technology and the vacuum made for an enjoyable experience.

This place has great staff and a good setup. If you end up with an automatic bbq it will rotate your skewers. The meat is tender and the marinates they use are beautiful. Surprisingly some of the best stuff is their cold bar and salad selection.

There’s SO MANY variety of food here. From grilled meats to stir fried dishes to fish cake soups. The staff are very friendly and are willing to help for first timers. There are also instructions to make popular dishes

Another Korean buffet and bbq restaurant, the only difference is the meat are skewered. We visited the place when they had the $19 promo. It was lunch time and the place was not full. We were seated immediately. The fried chicken (which I often zero in in Korean restos) is good. Crunchy and juicy. The skewered meats were ok. Not much pork and chicken. It was mostly beef and lamb. Buffet food is basic but would come back compared to the similar restaurant at the top floor.

A disappointing experience. Sure, the rotation skewer machine was innovative and different, but other than that, truly lacking. The selection was extremely limited, i.e. fried chicken, chips, some noodles and frozen fish balls, and the skewers. There were perhaps a variety of 18 different skewers, half of them being vegetables. The price was also definitely unjustified. ($39/pp)

Unlimited meat and hot food at affordable price was awesome! The automated skewer machine was interesting and the ambiance was their unique charm. Above all, I loved the beef and lamb skewers which are also unlimited!! I prefer weekdays given the cheaper price and no time limit. Recommendable and will visit again with my mates.

A fun dining experience with its machine meat skewer turning thing but other than the novelty of that, the food itself lacks. The meat whilst abundant was not particular good quality with tough cuts of beef and lamb. The hot foods were good with the fried chicken and sushi but were not refilled quick enough. The fish cake soup was also good with the sides. The staff were also nice, paying attention to the cleanup of the tables.

Overall the main attraction and price of $38 should of been the meat, however the meat itself lacks very much so that a second visit will not be necessary as the sides really helped carry the dining experience .

We came at 7.30 and almost all the hot food buffet was out, did not refill the whole night. Same with the skewers, very limited options. The BBQ plate was broken so staff BBQ the skewers for you which is not as fun as doing it yourself. 9pm they told us kitchen was close therefore they couldn’t not cook anymore skewers for us, but they stopped cooking since 7.30 as no food was refill.

They clean up at everything even before 9pm even through it state that they don’t close till 10pm. So disappointing!!!
They even empty the rubbish bin in the middle of the shop where the food was, making it smelly and unhygienic.
I couldn’t get out of there fast enough.

There’s place in Chinatown in the CBD that does the same as here but much better for a few dollars more.

staffs were really friendly and accommodating. A waiter came to us and explained what sauce goes with the skewers without us asking, appreciate that. The beef from hot food bar was really good and tasty. Only i wish they could add more desserts, rather than just watermelon n orange. But overall, was a good experience.

Visited Kushi charcoal skewer buffet for lunch for an unlimited time, not like dinner with 90minutes. The lunch buffet costed $25pp instead of $28pp because they had no charcoal for the grill. Instead of cooking the skewers ourselves, the workers cooked it for us instead which was good. The marinated skewers were okay. It would be better if there were spices like cumin and sauces like gochujang or doenjang as the skewers tasted plain. Wanted more variety for the dessert bar as it only had watermelon and oranges. The hot food was alright. On a side note, it would be better if they changed plates for hygiene purposes as the same plate was used for the raw skewers and the cooked skewers.

A Korean owned Japanese style Kushiyaki (Skewer & Grilled) restaurant. They use an automatic rotary skewer machine to grill the food. Very impressive as I’ve never visited any bbq restaurants having that system. Great for lazy people but you really have to watch the food not getting overcooked as they have cut the meat into fairly tiny pieces, the meat can easily overcook & dry out, which was the downside of it. The cut of the meat (beef especially) wasn’t using the prime cut so they were a bit chewy & not tender. 😑

They have an Oden bar with assorted fish cakes, fish balls & tofu skin etc in two different broth. (Spicy & non spicy) The skewers were all a bit bland, seasoning was needed when making them. 😐 Their salad was quite good using fresh ingredients, I quite enjoyed their potato salad & pumpkin mash. They also offer hot food for dinner, but it was nothing to brag about. Wish they include some desserts on top of the boring fruits, orange & watermelon. 😓

Excellent customer service, the staff was quick & friendly. It’s lovely for some fun dining but if you are after authentic Japanese style Yakitori restaurant, you will be disappointed. 😏
