We originally went to Little Saigon Plaza in Bankstown to try another restaurant. However, we couldn't resist the temptation to try Kushi Charcoal Skewer Buffet, or we'll call it Kushi Bankstown in this post. It's even crazier to see the price at $19 for the lunch buffet!. The main attraction for Kushi Bankstown is obviously its skewers. They have three different types of skewers: normal, seasoned and spicy.
My fiancé and I have visited this place so many times. Each time we have brought a couple of friends that were willing to try. I love the idea of the mini skewers, great service and amazing food. I have had other sweet chili fried chicken but here has been the best. We were quite pleased as they are halal which is suitable to our needs.
Always replenishing the food, our favourite are the beef ribs they have. They are reasonably priced for an all you can eat buffet with a variety of different quality meats and sides. Pricing is like everywhere else so it isn’t an issue at all. Love this place and definitely recommend to try. If it’s a first, definitely must hav where japchae noodles and chicken wings as well as their juicy skewers.
It was our first time at a korean buffet and barbeque (so we cannot compare quality to other places) but we were pleasantly surprised by the variety of korean food available at such a reasonable price point ($25pp, lunch on Father’s day). Place was not too crowded (the area where we sat at had mirrors to make the space look larger!) and felt very family friendly. The skewer technology and the vacuum made for an enjoyable experience.
This place has great staff and a good setup. If you end up with an automatic bbq it will rotate your skewers. The meat is tender and the marinates they use are beautiful. Surprisingly some of the best stuff is their cold bar and salad selection.
There’s SO MANY variety of food here. From grilled meats to stir fried dishes to fish cake soups. The staff are very friendly and are willing to help for first timers. There are also instructions to make popular dishes
Unlimited meat and hot food at affordable price was awesome! The automated skewer machine was interesting and the ambiance was their unique charm. Above all, I loved the beef and lamb skewers which are also unlimited!! I prefer weekdays given the cheaper price and no time limit. Recommendable and will visit again with my mates.
staffs were really friendly and accommodating. A waiter came to us and explained what sauce goes with the skewers without us asking, appreciate that. The beef from hot food bar was really good and tasty. Only i wish they could add more desserts, rather than just watermelon n orange. But overall, was a good experience.
Will return. Unlimited skewers. Many options of pre cooked food while waiting for your skewers to cook.

It was such a good restaurant. All meat was even fresh than I expected. And when we wait for the meat cooked, it’s simple because the rolling grill is automatic so you just put meat on the grill and just wait. That’s all. The flavor of wagyu was very juicy. I want to revisit there next time :)
Absolutely delicious. Plenty of meat, beef, pork, and seafood skewers to choose from. Along with a wide selection of sides to eat. Would highly recommend.
Really good food for a really great price! Went to the lunch buffet and was a reasonable selection, everything was fresh and tasty, and using the little grill is great fun! I imagine there is more of a selection for dinner, will absolutely have to go and see. Most staff were friendly, the young man that was there was absolutely wonderful. Highly recommended, will definitely be back.
Absolutely loved it. Friendly staff, great food that is constantly being replenished. A huge variety of sides, my favourites are the Japchae (sweet potato noodles) and the bulgogi wow! Great flavours. This place is awesome they offer a large halal section too. Will definitely be going for a third time!
Excellent food, fresh and delicious. Meat sticks great or you can try noodles or other rice dishes. Fried chicken excellent too. Not to expensive considering it is all you can eat and charcoal rotisserie style is includes and very fun.
Really enjoyed a lunchtime visit to this restaurant. Good selection of meats, seafood and vegetable sticks to BBQ over coals with a little machine to do the turning. Excellent range of supporting dishes including Korean pickles of different types, a good range of salads and dishes like bulgogi and spicy pork , with fired and steamed rice and fruit to finish. Staff were really attentive and helpful (Hi to Jackie!)
