Absolute beautiful place for breakfast at Bargara.
A very casual yet soothing atmosphere with its very own personality.
Very well laid out cafe that’s not too crowded yet is constantly busy which is always a great sign.
The service was very friendly and the food was brought out very quickly.
The coffee is a great blend and the food is delicious!
The southern fried chicken benedict was probably the standout dish. Crispy fried juicy chicken on a bed of slaw drizzled with some hollandaise. What more could you need.
The French toast croissant is also well balanced with the sweetness of the croissants with the saltiness of the maple bacon. Their house made gelato is creamy although the addition of more vanilla bean would have completed the flavours.
The windmill stack was a combination of haloumi, poached eggs and mushrooms with a sweet/savoury lashing of Worcestershire sauce.
All in all a great morning. I definitely would recommend.

I chose the most unique breakfast menu item, the smashed pumpkin with poached eggs, mushrooms, macadamia crunch and feta. . It wasn’t quite what I expected (I’d half thought it would come on bread like an avo smash), but it was delicious. . The feta and eggs are a great break to the strong and sweet flavours of the pumpkin and macadamia crunch.

Love this place. Peanut Butter slice was awesome. Gelato Bar at the rear of the cafe is awesome and heaps of flavours. A little bit hidden away in the back street of the esplanade. Nice coffee and really good paleo, vegan and gluten free options. Staff are excellent. Keep up the great work.
First time to the Windmill and loved it! I ordered the veggie stack with avocado and the spicy chai and it was delish! Great to see a dog friendly cafe, I'll bring my puppy next time. Thank you!
What a nice find in Bargara. Not only was the coffee delicious but the cakes were sensational. Unfortunately, we were almost full on the delicious lunch before we spotted the gelati and ice cream. We managed to fit a small cup in and were not disappointed.
The last time I went here I was so appalled by the service I walked out, so I was pleasantly surprised to see this place under new management. It has definitely improved - still needs a LOT more seating in order to accommodate demand. Our meals were generous and served quickly - and delicious! The kids had gelato afterwards, and the adults had coffee. The cafe is pet friendly and the staff are delightful. Such an improvement from the last visit!
We had coffee and scones here. Apparently new management, excellent coffee and scones. We will go back to try the brekky and lunch menu. The food looks fresh and innovative.
Wonderful lunch all round.Eggs bene with the salmon nearly covering the plate.
Smoked mackerel omelette was just the right flavour mix,maybe needed a bit more sauce on the side....all day breakfast available too
The juice drinks were a perfect mix of flavours and a nice size too.
Super delicious brunch of Windmill Stack, Bacon and egg roll, Salmon eggs Benny and waffles. All yum and served super quick.
Great breakfast spot in Bargara! Lovely sitting outside underneath the trees. It was very busy however, we were able to secure a seat within 5 minutes and food within 20 of sitting down. Food was brilliant and would recommend having the protein stack!
Had a great first experience here, very lovely staff who were very accommodating to my needs after wls. Surrounded by lovely gardens and good vibes.
This place is great! The food is absolutely amazing – everything we tasted melted in other mouths.the staff is also really friendly .it’s doesn’t matter what you order but I’m 100%sure your kids kids love that place and food 🙏🏽
Beautifully presented dragonfruit smoothy bowl. Bit sweet for my liking, but everything else was great. Will be back to try something else next time. Coffee and service were excellent!!
The Windmill Bargara cafe, great little cafe tucked away one street back from esplanade, make the effort. Great hospitality, well presented food, pet friendly outside dining area. Oh & gr8 coffee ☕ ❤️
