What a lovely place with such friendly and welcoming team that work here. We decided to order a few dishes as everything on the menu looked yum. The grazing platter had seafood on it that was fresher and more delicious than some fancy Sydney seafood restaurants by the water... blown away.
I only gave 4 stars because the burger was over sauced making it hard to eat with way too many thick pickles. The balance of flavours was not there. The steak with prawns hubby smashed don't think he stopped for air.. loved it. Thank you guys overall a great lunch.
Wow how good is the pub and bistro here, starting with the bar staff so welcoming and accommodating through to some delightful food, we had both choices on the $15 menu for lunch the steak and the chicken schnitzel both where devine , steak so fresh well cooked and so tender, same with the schnitzel. Also nice to sit in a area with no TV and some nice music. Really enjoyed our time and highly recommend

Visiting Bathurst we dined at the Family hotel, top class surf and turf, perfectly cooked, wife had pork chop on rosti, mouth-watering,.
Friendly staff, no wonder it's so popular.

Excellent venue, good atmosphere with very friendly and helpful staff. We stayed for a few drinks which turned in a family lunch. Good portions, tasty, and competitively priced. Very good location to key sites like museums, station, and shopping area. Parking is available on-site and in the street. Highly recommended. Facilities are decently clean. Only recommendation during covid is to make the bathroom tap necks longer as its difficult to wash hands without coming into contact with the basin's side.
We wanted to go to our usual spot for lunch, to our good fortune it was closed and we located this gem online. Had the Grazing Platter for 2 as Entree, The Calamari was tender and popping with flavour, the Chicken wings had a nice bite to them, the Prawns had a beautiful char to them, were juicy and spot on with flavour. The salad was light and fresh with a great tangy dressing. The lunch special we had was the Chicken Schnitzel, awesome portion, definitely
bigger then a lot of other pubs or taverns I have eaten in. The fresh pipping hot chicken with a house crumb and house gravy was fantastic and the veggies were fresh and hot. Will definitely be back and definitely recommend this establishment along with the awesome hospitality from all of the staff. Well done to all, thank you
