Tulip Thai is definitely a gem in Beaconsfield. Authentic Thai cooked by chefs from Northern Thailand ask if you want the heat of the chilli as some dishes have been toned down for the clientele.
We ate duck red curry, Penang beef curry with a little kick but still well balanced, Thai sausages- so worth a try, beef salad, and ginger fish, all well balanced salty, spicy and sweet.
The roti with peanut sauce was average- sauce was more curry like than a satay peanut sauce. Atmosphere was calming with the ability to hear everyone talk, very rare these days. Restrooms were clean and well attended so nice to see. Suggestions are that condiments be available such as chilli, vinegar etc to add to authenticity and roti be more authentic with their light and fluffy texture as well as the peanut sauce. Prices are reasonable and staff were friendly.
Definitely worth a visit.
We went to tulip Thai for the first time a week ago in the hunt for a Thai restaurant to add to our regulars. We got the prawn pad Thai, coconut rice and red duck curry. The curry was absolutely delicious and full of flavour, the added pineapple was my favourite part! The pad Thai was also great with a generous amount of large prawns. We were both surprised how creamy and rich the coconut rice and agreed we would happily eat it on its own!
Overall it was a great night out and we even ordered takeaway a few nights after! Awesome work guys!
Everything about this restaurant is wonderful! The food is well priced and Devine great atmosphere and service, it is all OUTSTANDING! I would give them 10 stars if I could. Definitely worth a visit😀
Always very good food here. The service is top notch and owner is very friendly. Went here for a family dinner, ordered 8 different dishes. All very great, we finished most of it because it was so good. Cheap night out.
Great service with great food! Thank you!

Amazing Thai food, fantastic staff, nice big tables to enjoy space with all the food you can order. Definitely worth a try in the eastern suburbs!
Tried takeaway from here, as the local Thai had recent mixed reviews. Wow, really glad we did. Quantity was excellent, containers packed tight. My daughter emptied less than 1/2 her pad Thai onto her plate, and it was a big mound. We ended up each saving 1/2 our container for a 2nd meal. $59 for 4 for 2 meals! My Panang curry was thick & fragrant, beef, beans & red capsicum. I asked for it spicy, and could see flecks of red chilli. Coconut rice slightly sweet & container stuffed full. The rest of my family had pad Thai & pad see ew, which they said was very good, but same taste as everywhere. Will be back. Only issue is that parking is really hard. Suggest you park opposite Aldi & take a short walk.
Definitely my favourite Thai in the Casey area. It always seems so quiet here, which I don't mind, and the staff are always attentive and polite. I've been the only table left at the restaurant at 10.30 and you still don't feel like they're rushing you out.
This restaurant is by far the best in the south east! I have been coming here for years and have always left satisfied! The Massaman curry is a must! Highly recommended!
This place has recently become my new favourite Thai restaurant. Food is absolutely delicious, well presented and tailored to your level of spicy-ness! To top it off, all beer is $5.50 and the staff are extremely friendly.
We love coming here as it's quiet and casual and are always greeted in such a friendly way. Am recommending to all my other local foodies. Not to be missed!
