Tulip Thai is definitely a gem in Beaconsfield. Authentic Thai cooked by chefs from Northern Thailand ask if you want the heat of the chilli as some dishes have been toned down for the clientele.
We ate duck red curry, Penang beef curry with a little kick but still well balanced, Thai sausages- so worth a try, beef salad, and ginger fish, all well balanced salty, spicy and sweet.
The roti with peanut sauce was average- sauce was more curry like than a satay peanut sauce. Atmosphere was calming with the ability to hear everyone talk, very rare these days. Restrooms were clean and well attended so nice to see. Suggestions are that condiments be available such as chilli, vinegar etc to add to authenticity and roti be more authentic with their light and fluffy texture as well as the peanut sauce. Prices are reasonable and staff were friendly.
Definitely worth a visit.
We went to tulip Thai for the first time a week ago in the hunt for a Thai restaurant to add to our regulars. We got the prawn pad Thai, coconut rice and red duck curry. The curry was absolutely delicious and full of flavour, the added pineapple was my favourite part! The pad Thai was also great with a generous amount of large prawns. We were both surprised how creamy and rich the coconut rice and agreed we would happily eat it on its own!
Overall it was a great night out and we even ordered takeaway a few nights after! Awesome work guys!
Everything about this restaurant is wonderful! The food is well priced and Devine great atmosphere and service, it is all OUTSTANDING! I would give them 10 stars if I could. Definitely worth a visit😀
Always very good food here. The service is top notch and owner is very friendly. Went here for a family dinner, ordered 8 different dishes. All very great, we finished most of it because it was so good. Cheap night out.
Great service with great food! Thank you!

Amazing Thai food, fantastic staff, nice big tables to enjoy space with all the food you can order. Definitely worth a try in the eastern suburbs!
Tried takeaway from here, as the local Thai had recent mixed reviews. Wow, really glad we did. Quantity was excellent, containers packed tight. My daughter emptied less than 1/2 her pad Thai onto her plate, and it was a big mound. We ended up each saving 1/2 our container for a 2nd meal. $59 for 4 for 2 meals! My Panang curry was thick & fragrant, beef, beans & red capsicum. I asked for it spicy, and could see flecks of red chilli. Coconut rice slightly sweet & container stuffed full. The rest of my family had pad Thai & pad see ew, which they said was very good, but same taste as everywhere. Will be back. Only issue is that parking is really hard. Suggest you park opposite Aldi & take a short walk.
Definitely my favourite Thai in the Casey area. It always seems so quiet here, which I don't mind, and the staff are always attentive and polite. I've been the only table left at the restaurant at 10.30 and you still don't feel like they're rushing you out.
This restaurant is by far the best in the south east! I have been coming here for years and have always left satisfied! The Massaman curry is a must! Highly recommended!
This place has recently become my new favourite Thai restaurant. Food is absolutely delicious, well presented and tailored to your level of spicy-ness! To top it off, all beer is $5.50 and the staff are extremely friendly.
We love coming here as it's quiet and casual and are always greeted in such a friendly way. Am recommending to all my other local foodies. Not to be missed!
About the tenth time I have been to this restaurant and thought it was time I posted something on it. Each time I go with close friends for a special occasion and tonight was the same. Between 7 off us, there was not one bad meal and everyone once again enjoyed their meals. My wife and I shared spring rolls and satay chicken skewers for entry and they are sensational. The satay you just have to mop up. My normal is the Thai Green Curry Chicken. Others also had the Basil Supreme which was full of flavour and a real treat. The meal was topped off with Banana Fritters and Ice Cream. The service again was good and there is nothing negative I can say about this little Thai paradise out in the heart of Beaconsfield. Will be back soon again.
This is mine and a girlfriends favourite place for a catch up over dinner. The stuff as so nice and the food delicious. It isn't noisy like other cramped thai places. Would absolutely recommend!
Nice place and excellent service. Delicious food. A bit pricy but worth it. Mixed entrée n satay chicken to start off...yum yum. Mains - roast duck curry, full of flavour n duck was cooked to perfection. Next Tulip's Fish -huge portion , deep fried fish in sauce. Ate so much that decided to skip dessert.
Well, we had the Thai Fish Cakes and Thai Sausage for entree. The fish cakes looked and tasted like they were bought in, which is a shame, but the sausages had a great flavour with a texture of freshly grated coconut mixed with a fresh curry paste. Yummo! For the mains my wife had the Red Duck Curry with Coconut Rice which was very good but I felt like a light salad. Unfortunately I chose the wrong one. I sat in front of a fried pork mince type dish sat atop a few lettuce leaves. It was nice but left my palate aching, I'm guessing a type of numbing from too much MSG? I have no problems ingesting MSG except when too much is used! So all in all it was a good experience and next time I will ask more questions of the menu!
Went to Tulip Thai tonight and ordered the chicken spring rolls and satay chicken skewers for entree! Delicious!!
For main, we had the garlic prawns with garlic, pepper, spring onions & veg. Also Thai green curry with coconut rice. Was all very tasty! The Green curry was quite spicy but loved it. Can't complain really. Pretty awesome! :)
Delicious-. Beautiful Thai food, been here on many occasions and have never been disappointed. The pad thai is awesome and the curry puffs with peanut sauce are absolutely delish- We were here with a large group and everything was beautiful, delivered simultaneously and consistent. Great job Tulip Thai!
Brilliant. One of the few genuine Thai food restaurants in the eastern suburbs. Thai Sausages are an entree must. The Spicy Devil seafood special is truly devine. Reasonable wine and beer list with plenty for everyone.
The Chili fish was good. Try the Thai sausage... I wasnt sure when I ordered them but I mist say they were terrific !
