Cosy for cold weather (Indoor heater), for warm weather there is a nice backyard seating. Food menu is huge with standard cafe prices- slightly expensive but large portions. Only downside is the food on the menu contains somewhat ingredients from home you could probably make yourself.
Sticky date pudding contains an abundance of real dates- would recommend. Good variety of hot drink flavours such as tumeric, chai, beetroot and standard coffees. Nice staff, overall decent cafe.
Good customer service ! Good food! The fettuccine was good đź‘Ťđź‘Ť seafood really fresh , risotto tasty , kids meal really big portion n my kids really enjoyed it!! Well done!!!
As I sit in my boring office and eat porridge for lunch I'm actually thinking of the delicious lunch we had yesterday at this lovely little cafe. Four of us enjoyed a the all day breaky menu with all our faves. He had a bacon and egg burger and then got severe lunch envy. I had a beautifully presented and really yummy breaky bruschetta with bacon, roasted tomatoes, feta and perfectly poached eggs with a dash of basil pesto. Junior had his fave pancakes with banana (which was caramelized so he didn't eat it!) and Miss S had the green breaky, spinach, eggs and gluten free toast. The service was polite but bringing the meals and drinks to the tables was ad hoc. I would prefer it is all served at once, so we can all eat together and all have hot meals when we do eat together. If you go here, have a wander through the gift shop and nursery. Its a lovely end to a good cafe experience.
Came for breakfast and ended up having homemade Italian spaghetti meatballs because the looked too good, and the staff were excellent. Very warm and welcoming environment with bright young employees. Coffee is the best around and would for sure recommend.

Polite and friendly staff that seemed very committed too their job.

If you are looking for a great place to go with reasonable prices and great food I would recommend Mia cafe 100%. The service is good, although due to how busy they are sometimes hot drinks are slow to arrive but coffee and hot chocolates are good, the scenery is gorgeous due to it also being a garden centre and the gift shop also has many hidden gems. Will definitely be returning again and again.
A great little stop for coffee, especially with the kids! I saw a poster on the wall for a free babycino & colouring in, but we went with a very child friendly temperature hot chocolate which was then thoughtfully transferred to a takeaway cup so we could explore the play area (cubby & toys), gift shop and garden centre outside after I finished my coffee. The garden centre is a beautiful little oasis, with friendly helpful staff that knew exactly what I was talking about when I asked about ' the one all over instagram with the holes in the leaves'. A lovely place where a quick coffee stop can turn into a whole morning out!
Sometimes it's good to skip the extremely popular hipster foodie joints and pop into the cafes with a more chilled vibe. After attempting to visit Findlay & Sons with no success, Mia Cafe was the closest spot and although it was busy we managed a table. The menu is short and street but they know how to brew a good coffee and the food was made with love. I tried the Asparagus Poached Eggs on Sourdough with some added bacon and it was scrumptious. The combo of parmesan and balsamic made dish! So glad we popped in!
Mia Cafe combined the concept of cafe dining alongside garden nurseries long before it became trendy. In fact Mia Cafe has been around as long as I can remember, and that’s a while. I visit Mia Cafe every few months, usually for a coffee and a quick lunch. It’s popular with locals, especially in the warmer months when the verandah section looks out on the colourful plants in the Mia Flora nursery. There’s also a quaint little gift shop on site, so if the owners would only slap on a lick of paint to clean up the unattractive bore water stains, the place would look a lot more enticing.
Great little spot. Do yourself a favour though.... Walk out the back and find a spot out there. The traffic noise disappears and you can hold a lovely conversation with the company you are there with. We discovered "out the back" by accident when we went to use the bathroom :-)
Very busy cafe, the waffles and cold drinks were enjoyable.
Can get crowded inside, I recommend the outdoor seating. We had a nice view of the nursery and didn't have to compete with the noise during the busy period.
Just be careful not to sit in the cafe "blind spot". We did and when we requested a share plate and cutlery, we were forgotten lol not a deal-breaker though 🙂
Friendly staff, yummy food and reasonably priced! I like how the cafe is connected to the garden shop, we always go for a wonder after eating in the cafe. Only thing is they close at 2pm everyday but that might have been due to Covid. They also have some really delicious gluten free desserts worth the try đź‘Ś
We have been going to this place for years! Excellent food, breakfast and home made Pasta! The gift area is amazing filled with unusual things and the plant nursery area is beautiful. A lovely place for brunch.
Absolutely delicious hotpot!
The broth has a rich bone flavour, you can tell it has been simmering for a while and has minimal or no powdered flavourings.
All the ingredients are high quality and healthy.
I'll be back!
It’s got a nice charm this place, and the food isn’t bad either.
Lovely coffee, fresh food and good size servings. Haven't been for a long time and it is under new management- the only downside was getting 2 meals early and the other 2 quite a bit later! Otherwise definitely worth going
