We were welcomed with a very friendly staff, the menu is pretty huge! There is a 100+ items on it, I would definitely suggest to shrink down the number of items.
We started the night and the music was extremely loud, so loud to talk to the staff or to my partner we had to yell to each other. This obviously made it hard for the staff to hear our order and made the ordering process difficult. If the live music is advertised for a particular day of the week then I guess it’s alright, we just weren’t aware of it when planning our trip. Plan your trip around this as it’s really hard to enjoy a conversation or catch up with friends/family during the performance.
The Lalmohan (gulab jamun) was delicious!
The prices were very reasonable for what you get, food was really delicious and the staff were very friendly and accommodating.
Coming all the way from Melbourne to Canberra, We searched for a good restaurant to have Nepalese food around the city. Then, We went here in The Hungry Buddha Nepalese Restaurant. Really fascinated by the customer service ( Usha didi and Swornab dai were awesome) , good music and decorations and most importantly food was at the top. We had Momos and Goat Khana Sets, probably the best I had ever had in Australia.
I went in the hungry buddha for dinner it was really awesome taste of food was awesome customer service was awesome usha didi and swarnap dai was there it was best customer service as well as decorations of restaurant was awesome thank you all chefs out there as well thank you
Although chilly momo was not as oer expected, other things are great 👍
Best and authentic Nepalese restaurant in town. We had noodles, Sukuti and sekuwa set. Everything was best as ever.
The place was clean, food were delicious and the staffs were friendly. What else would we look for. Would definitely visit again and recommend.
